Jayme, Get a guard chinchilla. I have one sleep in my car during the nights just to deter stuff like this from happening:) Well,... in the mornings you may have to wipe up chinchilla shite and pee:( But it's worth it in the end:) That sucks:(

And Oh, just trying to make light of your situation. Thank goodness you have insurance and your car WILL get fixed by a professional and be right as rain. I live in SoCal and this type of thing happens all the time:( I'm just waiting for that instance when I go into the grocery store or movies and come out to find my Si Gonnnnnne:( However, I have an actual alarm and the fuel kill device installed to disable the car in that event. Get a motion sensitive security light installed nearby too.
