@magdalena1983 it was a hugely expensive console that was launched in 93 it had good graphic but had poor 3d and was killed of manly because it was way expensive
@magdalena1983 it was a 32bit console built by Mattel Electronics when and cost £899 when it was launced in 91 launched in 1991 and unlike cartridges the games were on compact disk
wasn't a bad game imo I think its easy to bag on some of these things now but back then didn't hear too much bad talk about it besides the price tag of the system
Can anyone help me out, I downloaded the FreeDO Emulator...wanted to play this game, the game loads fine, but the sound is very choppy, downloaded both 1.9 & 2.1 versions of FreeDO, can anyone help?
It was actually one of the last games of its type, since FMV games were on the way out when this hit the market. However it blended FMV with standard gameplay pretty well.
Although it's a great example of how developers of games that used Full Motion Video during this time thought that the game would be good just because of it's FMVs, I still liked it but I prefer the Sega Genesis version. The 3DO actually had some good titles such as this, Captain Quazar, and Gex.
@Gggmanlives I had the Panasonic "drawer" version. The graphics were nice but some of the gameplay was horrible. Some of the first person shooters like "Escape From Monster Manor", "Killing Time" and "Space Hulk" were interesting. "Gex" was good. "Super Street Fighter II Turbo" and "Samurai Shodown" were awesome on 3DO. "Need For Speed", "Road Rash", "Madden" and "FIFA" were heavy hitters and system sellers. "Way Of The Warrior" was horrible.

I did enjoy "Demolition Man" for 3DO. The first person shooter parts were fun; chasing Wesley Snipes around, lol.

Thanks for posting this! I always wondered what this game looked like. The system was too expensive for me to ever buy as a kid.

3D0 was cool, just too expensive. For the time, it was WAY ahead of other games in terms of graphics.

Compare Policenauts 3DO to the Playstation version to the Saturn version and Saturn version wins in terms of visuals.

I disagree. I consider the 3DO Console to be pretty underrated. Now the Phillips CD-i, that looks like it was made for only 99cents
