If you haven't figured it out yet, it's been 2 months since you posted.

To the right, there is a cave. Go into the cave, and blow away the debris on the floor. You should see a drawing of the machine. The heads should face the direction they are on the ground, so then go back out and use the mist technique. Once slowed, slash each head where it should be facing.

This opening comes on after if your inactive on the game menu. The more descriptive one is for the actual beginning of the game. =)

First part of the video plays the song simply titled "Prologue" (track 4 of disk 1) the second half is "To Tamagahara." (track 30 of disk 4)

@SensoOokami the answer is that: Amaterasu at first was intended to be genderless, just as a god is, however, most people percieve her as a female, and in the translation "Mother to all of us". Ammy is concluded to be a goddess, therefor, shes female ^^. I hope people stop arguing about things like this

First off "Okami" is not her name. HER name is Amaterasu. And Ammy (what Issun calls her for short) is in fact a girl. Haven't you played the game?

Yeah, Okami Amaterasu is her name, but Okami only means Great God, "Great God Amaterasu."

That's the nice thing about the title itself. The kanji used for the title is "大神" which does mean "great god," even though the pun from the pronunciation of the word is "wolf." Amaterasu is "alternately called Amateratsu Omikami" as stated in the game booklet.

@renamon33 Plus, in Shinto religion, Amaterasu (sp) was stated as female. Thus, this being based off the Shinto stories, she is most likely a girl. :)

And the fact Issun says in the game when she talks to Rao- "Hey! Ammy is kinda sensitive about her flaws' Something along the lines of that. So I hope that cleared it up.

True, she raises her leg in Golden fury (lol) Like a male dog, but in wolf packs the alpha female will raise her leg (at least i think)

I got Okami for my birthday. ^_____^ So far I got to the part with Mr. Orange and you have to help him make the flowers bloom when he's dancing. I'm having a hard time getting past that, though. XD

Clover, the creators of Okami, shut down, unfortunately. So a sequel is highly unlikely. I love this game, though. It's epic like FF, but not as overwhelming.

How I hate Capcom for only releasing it on the PS2... come on... everybody knows that Nintendo system owners like Clover games a lot more than PS2 ones... why can't we have this brilliant game as well, like what happened with Viewtiful Joe, GameCube supposed-to-be exclusive?

I can't speak for the company, but you never know. Viewtiful Joe was once only for GameCube, than a PS2 version came on. Maybe they'll make a GameCube version later. You never know.

Like Senso said, I also don't speak for the company. The Gamecube is actually for the younger gamers while the PS2 and the XBox is relatively adult gamers. "So what? There are many 'Rated T and M' games out there!" you might say. I completely understand about your issue, there are many games that has adult themes. But the GameCube has more "Rated E" than any other rating. Therefore, Clover Studios may have thought it was best to put it in the PS2. Maybe I'm right, maybe I'm wrong... who knows?
