I often hear the statement that evolution is a fact. What is the difference between evidence and proof? Does the evidence for evolution constitute proof for evolution? If evolution is a fact, why is it not known as the law of evolution? I hear often that just as gravity is a law, so is evolution, is this a peer reviewed and peer accepted conclusion verified by objective observation or the claims of individuals who support this idea with no peer reviewing or ignoring of critical views?
