Despite what some other commenters have said, I really like this version. It might not be quite as rough and rocking as previous versions, but it has a nice tempo that sits somewhere in-between the faster and slower Shadoogies of the past, and the guys seem to really have fun with it - especially Brian on the drum solo.

I love the Shads in general and shadoogie in particular, but I must admit this is not their best version; it sounds a bit like good amateurs imitating the Shadows.

At the risk of making myself look a fool in the Shadow (pun intended) of your obvious superior musical knowledge, I would remind you that your hero (one of mine too) TE, was inpsired by HBM's unique style. The "lame co-ordinated dancing" is also admired by TE, here on You tube you will find TE himself "boogieing" whilst playing this same "shite" with a Shadows tribute band. I look forward to you posting your version of guitar boogie for us to admire!
