I was 16 when oasis and blur went head to head,i bought country house and loved blur,still do.Couple of weeks later i got handed a copy of what s the story morning glory,that album changed my life.Noel Gallagher is the john lennon of My generation, if you listen to any off oasis b sides(masterplan,listen up,fadeaway,acquiesce ect)THAT is why Noel is the best songwriter of our generation.Oasis stand along side the stones and the beatles,snow patrol are blue square premier mate

That bullshit about Blur vs Oasis was in 1995. Give it up. Oasis sold more records, but have not made a good album in 12 years. They keep trying but the talent is not there. After the "battle" Blur released the self titled album, 13 and then Think Tank. Arguably their best stuff. Oasis on the other hand keep rewriting the same song over and over again. I stopped caring after the Be Here Now debacle. I still listen, but it's mostly to make fun of them.
