Rousing wall of sound here. I particularly enjoyed how the stage lighting was synchronized with the music, especially at the 4:45 mark when the rush of light coincided with the orchestral surge. A great blend of music styles here and what a splendid setting. Thanks.
if aliens were to come down to earth from other dimension i think this piece of music would make them feel at home Standing in Motion/Acroyali... Then if yanni could somehow fit to that rainmaker then they would be mesmerized... If they still want to hear more to feel the music and their home nostalgia would do the job perfectly...
Epilepsy.org said this Song along with Mozart's K448 Have been shown to both increase Spatial reasoning, IQ points by at least 9 points and decrease Epileptiform activity, making sufferers less prone to suffer an epileptic fit!
@DRAGOON009ify Yes and no, when he was on "Charmeleon" a Rock group he had with the Batterist "Charlie Adams", he didn't know how to write or read notes, but nowadays ,he knows, if not, how the Orchestra could play Yanni's music?
at the end, i don't like how the main theme is constantly repeating itself. it gets tiresome. also, the "transition" from one section to another at 4:48 and 6:55 is pretty weird. tell you the truth, that kinda ruins the piece for me. the piece is awesome. if there was a decent transition it would be mind blowing
This composition was determined to have the "Mozart Effect", by the Journal of the Royal Society of Medicine because it was similar to Mozart's K 448 in tempo, structure, melodic and harmonic consonance and predictability. See Wikipedia for Mozart Effect.
god this is amazing, it makes me vibrate.... Im going to put this music with some videos of Ayrton Senna driving, it's gonna make me cry of happiness!
@KenyanPlayboyBunnie1 I know now, he'll be over here in NY and NJ!!! I looked it up, hoping I can get tickets and go with my mom and sisters! Pray for Me!!!
someone screwed up and squeaked at 4:16. Otherwise, this is completely amazing. i love yanni's music. i sure hope he was the one who made all of this and not the one helping the musicians compose the songs in the performance. This was in 1994 so all those ppl there are old including yanni. He shaved his beard and cut his hair. he looked so cool back then. :(
Das sind auch die Überbrückungs Musik von TRT Int und die Titel Theme von Peru Milinario das ist eine Sendung die mit den Inkas versönne soll aber nicht schafen tut weil die Inkas (Indios) sich Querstellen
Ok, I thought that the only music that could attract me is metal (from heavy metal to death metal), but I like this song! Why isn't Yanni speaking Greek, though?
@PANIONIOSG3 He performed three concerts at the Acropolis. He spoke Greek at one of them, but because the concert was to be broadcasted all over the world, he was told to speak english instead. He wrote in his memoirs that he found it slightly awkward, speaking english to Greek audience.
the world should spend the billions of dollars to nuture humans to produce this type of music than soend it on nuclear weapons to kill..... simply amazing piece of music....peace to all
Hey , im from cleveland, i just moved to CT. where did he play? what types of clevelanders like yanni? unfortunately i was under the impression that yanni was the ultimate flakey guy similar to kenny g (who is also great as well). I just discovered how great his talents are and what a genuine person he is at the age of 24.
Sad, that (maybe it's just my computer) sound and video here don't fit ... his expressions and reactions to everything he plays is so magnificent ... thanks a lot for putting this online, mosheste ... I love his music ... I really do
