actually the move was invented by Rivelino in the 1970's the the similar move that is done behind the standing leg, where you drag the ball behind you to the left and then flick it to the right was done by Ronaldo while playing for Barca, also the sand on the ball and and kick it with the other foot was also ronaldo ... he made many moves just not the flip flap :O)
