White threatens Bxf6 trapping the queen and also attacking the rook. So black castles to save the rook and give the queen an escape square on e8, but he overlooked Bh8 which forces mate.

I think there's too much complaining over small matters..I personally love the MUSIC as well as the game.

My own preference has been e4 e5, Nf3 Nf6, Bc4 Bc5, and d3 (even if 3. ...Nf6)

Found a Reti game, once, with that move and have been exploring it along the way

This is not a trap, it's a blunder when black plays g5, if black doesn't play that it's an even game, white has a better position but given up an pawn for that position

If Black takes the Bishop with gxh4 then fxe5 leaves both of Blacks Knights hanging, so Whtie regains the piece with a superior postion.
