I know, I know; I hate it too. It was just part of the storyline. Since both of her neighbor-friends had moved out and she got a raise and promotion and felt her life was in a rut and needed a change, she got a bigger apartment with a separate bedroom.

Good idea, bad apartment. In the episode when she moved in, she says, "I hate it". I wonder how much of that line reflected her own feelings about changing sets.

I know this show was a huge deal in the 70's, but it's not that great. Mary t Moore seems to be an average actress at best. Her voice is always so high. I suspect the show made it's mark based on the idea and persona of Mary ... being a single lady, working for a living, it all fit in with the changing culture of the 70's. As much as it related to the times, she is not a great actress. The them song is original though.

Betty White is great in this episode, and it's interesting to see Pat Priest (Marilyn) from The Munsters. Love when Sue Ann kicks her hand off Lou's knee. Thanks for uploading these, jcbsebrigh. MTM was long missing from YouTube; you filled a huge void for us MTM fans. Bravo!
