what happens is when the screws are side by side is that the screws spark near the top of the bottle and you need a good spark in the middle so what i did was put one longer screw on the the top and put one completly on the opposite side so it will spark better try that and it should work
I could not be working for two reasons: it does not get enough oxygen in the combustion chamber or you are waiting to long befor firing if you wait to long the aresol will settle and because the screws are at the top you don't have much time
that thing will blow up in your hands.
To get good force to launch a spud you need a decent explosion which is gonna take high pressure PVC if you plan on using it more than once.
I use the 175psi pipe for my spud guns and they will still eventually crack open after use.
Cardboard barrel is a joke. The potato's gonna get stuck to it.
though that thing would shoot balls of paper fine. And quite well.

ur problem prob is the bottles there prob to flexible so all the energy is being transferred to stretching the bottle if u know what a mean
