@flv2358 No. Not really. Dino Rex is an old, cheap-o arcade dinosaur fighting game. Dino Crisis is a play-station 1 or 2 dinosaur adventure game. Dino Crisis was made after Dino Rex and the game play and graphics are WAY better. Aztec Rex looks kinda like cheap-o film in opion. What do you think?

Yes, its cheap, and the so called special effects are so bad that you almost want to cry, oh and the story is another Dancing with wolves remake but.... it was not as bad as I thought. It's pretty much watchable, even though not very memorable, but still you don't feel as you've just wasted your time. And the actresses are beatiful. BTW dinosaur fighting games, be sure to check Primal Rage - it's a classic!

La pelicula es jodidamente mala... pero, no se por que demonios tengo esa mania de ver gente "antigua" en bronca con los dinosaurios, viste el valle de GWANGI? si la ves entenderas por que.
Ayer mismo vi esta película y la verdad no sabía si reír o llorar. Desde el momento enque vi a una australo-tibetana haciendo de indígena (eso sí, está buenísima), pasando por los nombres de los "españoles" y acabando con el fallo garrafal de decir decir que los italianos se podían hacer con esas tierras. Cuando Italia no existía tan siquiera y entre otras cosas la mitad estaba en manos españolas.
Se les escapó de las manos a los realizadores el argumento, quizás por imaginación escasa o poca información. Pudieron haber hecho un paralelismo o una asociación con el dios azteca Quetzalcóatl, la serpiente emplumada, ( científicos afirman la existencia de plumas en algunos dinosaurios ) y darle así un basamento argumental más sólido y congruente al filme.
La película tiene situaciones y escenas realmente graciosas.
En los años sesenta vimos a Maciste, legendario héroe del peplum que peleaba con mongoles, asiriocaldeos, mosqueteros, extraterrestres, zulúes, descendientes de Drácula, etc., en anacrónicas situaciones con decorados de papel maché y cartón prensado.
Sí, hagan la segunda parte, Hernán Cortés junto a Popeye, Mandrake, y algún velocirraptor.
Sólo falta que en la película se escuche a María Callas con la Sinfónica de Turin haciendo Norma de Bellini y se ponga a bailar la Dra. Ripley con un Alien - Depredator y Bugs Bunny con Cruela De Vil, mientras la Coca Sarli lo mira a Santos Cantoni y sensualmente expresa: " ¿ Qué pretende Ud. de mí ...? "

The Spanish Conquistadors and the Catholic relegion were the ones to blame, and once Spain eventualy conquered Mexico, they almost completely erased all traces of Aztec history. They manipulated peoples way of thinking. to forget about the Aztecs, to se them as savages, as tyrants who wreaked terror in their land. That they practiced cannibalism

Thats how it was for all cultures back then. Their had to be war. You can't obtain somthing grand that you want for free, one must earn it or fight for it, correct? its in our nature. oh, and as an ending note, i can tell you i love the pre-colombine cultures, and i also love my spanish heritage, and despite loving it, i will never forgive them for destroying loads of cultural, architectural heritage. But that does not make spaniards devils. Most nations on the world have destroyed their (or their enemie's) cultural inheritance. And for the record, nowdays spain retains one of the greatest cultural diversities in europe (several languages, old kingdoms...)

In their beleif they did so by comunicating with God thru the sun. The other statues symbolized their way of life they were NOT gods that they worshiped, that is also misinformation. The reason why they sacrificed people was to "feed God's divine power" to keep the sun moving that was done by offering human hearts.

@flv2358 No. Not really. Dino Rex is an old, cheap-o arcade dinosaur fighting game. Dino Crisis is a play-station 1 or 2 dinosaur adventure game. Dino Crisis was made after Dino Rex and the game play and graphics are WAY better. Aztec Rex looks kinda like cheap-o film in opion. What do you think?

Yes, its cheap, and the so called special effects are so bad that you almost want to cry, oh and the story is another Dancing with wolves remake but.... it was not as bad as I thought. It's pretty much watchable, even though not very memorable, but still you don't feel as you've just wasted your time. And the actresses are beatiful. BTW dinosaur fighting games, be sure to check Primal Rage - it's a classic!

I'm Europian, but I'm a bid grosed from this movie.
Spaniards were worse then any Rex can possibly be.
One example: for fun they catapulted native-american babies for the rifle target practice. I will not say more about the entire sadism.
Therefore I will never enjoy this movie...

I'm european too, and I know that in the middle ages didn't have any kind of rifle. They had ARQUEBUS (search Wikipedia). As you could see from the images of an arquebus, you'll not aim to a catapulted baby or any flying target. Try to read more, go to classes & watch less videos...

Gotta replaced the wick that fired it, then you gotta pour in the gun powder into the end of the barrel, then you gotta pack it down with a long stick, then add the bullet, pack that down, then aim, light the wick and pray that this time the damn bullet goes straight.

It is known that the most brutal and cruel were Spanish army and Catholics.
As for Nazis, they made use of their cruelty such as medical research. Something i strongly disagree but some of their knowledge is applied nowdays.

Ayer mismo vi esta película y la verdad no sabía si reír o llorar. Desde el momento enque vi a una australo-tibetana haciendo de indígena (eso sí, está buenísima), pasando por los nombres de los "españoles" y acabando con el fallo garrafal de decir decir que los italianos se podían hacer con esas tierras. Cuando Italia no existía tan siquiera y entre otras cosas la mitad estaba en manos españolas.

Se les escapó de las manos a los realizadores el argumento, quizás por imaginación escasa o poca información. Pudieron haber hecho un paralelismo o una asociación con el dios azteca Quetzalcóatl, la serpiente emplumada, ( científicos afirman la existencia de plumas en algunos dinosaurios ) y darle así un basamento argumental más sólido y congruente al filme.
La película tiene situaciones y escenas realmente graciosas.
