I know nobody cares, and I'm just one more in a sea of comments. But I liked all the star wars movies. I was only little when episode 1 came out, but when I saw it I was just blown away. And as I grew up, I was at the age where movies seemed so amazing, no matter how good they were. I look back now and I see shit CGI and poor characters in some cases, but I still see some amazing movies. Haring the soundtrack for star wars just fills me with nostalgia, and I think all the movies were amazing.

The thrid film was shocking complex especailly becuase of the fact that it got better as the film went along. Most movies start good then go down hill but the revenge of the sith started good and ended great.

The only reason RotS is considered good is the special effects and the soundtrack.... Lucas tried to make the prequel trilogy dramatic and it blew up in his face. well a big part of the differance in style in the prequel movies and original triolgy, least imo, was how different thigns were in the Republic vrs. the Galactic Empire. They should make some more moives about the old republic or the after math of the civil war with Vader and Luke and everything. It would be cool to see Anakin and Padma togethere once again and this time with their child rebuilding the Jedi order. It would be heart warming.

@512abrown Contrary to popular belief, more people like the prequels than hate them. Hell, TPM and AOTC received average reviews from critics, same as ROTJ, and ROTS received good reviews, same as ANH and ESB. Yeah, some of the acting is weak, but most of the actors give decent or better performances, including Hayden in ROTS.
A lot fans were just disappointed when their vision were not shown on the silver screen, while the rest of us watched the prequels and enjoyed them.
@512abrown I think Ewan McGregor made the prequels for me :D He did a fantastic job as Obi-Wan Kenobi. My second favourite would probably be ROTS, although ESB is probably the best one, I still think they did a good job in the final prequel.

More importantly, it completes the story of Star Wars. The entire saga is all about Anakin. The first half (Prequel trilogy) is about his fall to the Dark Side. The second half (original trilogy) is about his redemption.

I still enjoy all three prequel films for many reasons, chief among them being Darth Maul, Mace Windu, Qui Gon Jinn, the amazing atmosphere, the soundtrack, and, primarily for me, Ewan McGegor's absolutely stellar performance as younger Obi Wan Kenobi. He nailed that role on the head.

I just realized something. Anakin could have ended the Prophecy in Episode III when he could have helped Mace Windu to kill Palapatine. He had many chances to end the Prophecy without turning to the Sith. But I guess that's how Lucas imagined it for his saga.

About a thousand survived order 66 and were subsequently hunted down to the hundred. A lot fans were just disappointed when their vision were not shown on the silver screen, while the rest of us watched the prequels and enjoyed them.

@512abrown I think Ewan McGregor made the prequels for me :D He did a fantastic job as Obi-Wan Kenobi. My second favourite would probably be ROTS, although ESB is probably the best one, I still think they did a good job in the final prequel.

@512abrown I like it as well. I'll admit I prefer the original trilogy, but I'm just as happy watching the Prequel trilogy as well.
More importantly, it completes the story of Star Wars. The entire saga is all about Anakin. The first half (Prequel trilogy) is about his fall to the Dark Side. The second half (original trilogy) is about his redemption.

@512abrown In my opinion, the only truly bad things about the prequels were a slower pace compared to the original series, Jar Jar Binks, and the shoddily written love story of Anakin and Padme. I still enjoy all three prequel films for many reasons, chief among them being Darth Maul, Mace Windu, Qui Gon Jinn, the amazing atmosphere, the soundtrack, and, primarily for me, Ewan McGegor's absolutely stellar performance as younger Obi Wan Kenobi. He nailed that role on the head.

@devindenman I feel exactly the same way. I wasn't born when the original movies came out but I grew up watching them and love them, they hold a special place in my heart but I still like the prequels. Everything you said is exactly how I feel.. there are good and bad things but overall they are good. Not the original trilogy by any means but they don't deserve all the hate they get.

I just realized something. Anakin could have ended the Prophecy in Episode III when he could have helped Mace Windu to kill Palapatine. He had many chances to end the Prophecy without turning to the Sith. But I guess that's how Lucas imagined it for his saga.

@minigun20 By the end of the Empire there were around 20ish Jedi left who were hiding in remote locations around the Galaxy. About a thousand survived order 66 and were subsequently hunted down to the hundred. A lot of them turned dark as well and begun to work for the Empire which formed the basic foundations for the "Emperors hands"

@DOWrocksify it didn't blind him to his duty as the chosen one. if anakin hadn't gone to the darkside then things wouldn't have been how they were meant to be. he brought balance to the force as the prophecy foretold. the prophecy never specified that he had to be jedi or sith... or even how long it would take.. just that it would eventually happen.

Maybe not with the same ideals as the Old Republic era Sith, like the Rule of Two, but there will always be Sith. Corrupted Jedi and other Force Sensitives.
