  • ...why are you commenting on this? The video is over a year old now...

  • hillary is great at this. say one thing and prays to god that something else happens. hillary 2012! no obama, no way, no how.

  • Wow...there are still some in the PUMA fold? I thought they went extinct with the lack of press on the issue...

  • Mike50: Are you hard of reading or just cant make sense? What I said was "In past elections, even when the polls show as dead even, or with a slight lead for the left, the left has always lost!"

In '92 Clinton was ahead of Bush41 by ~6% and in '96 Clinton was ahead of Dole by ~9%, hardly close.

In both 2000 and 2004 it was less than a percent actual difference, but in both cases polls had the left ahead. Bush won both (spare me the whiney leftist talking points about "stolen" elections)

  • All of this is irrelevant now: B-HO is so done - he's history! He'll never get elected now! McCain is ahead in the polls. In past elections, even when the polls show as dead even, or with a slight lead for the left, the left has always lost! As more folks see what an extreme, radical, America-hating socialist B-HO really is, his numbers will drop even more. HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA! NOBAMA 08!!

  • The elections of '92 and '96 ended with the "left" winning.

Secondly, I didn't realize that realize that giving rich people tax breaks while leaving the middle-class out of the loop was so holy a government. It sure has worked, hasn't it?

Since you're screaming how you'd lose money with Obama's tax plan, I assume that you make oover $250,000 annually?

  • lol i would've hated to have had cliton as president... i mean come on would you have wanted a president who cryed on national television .. the bitch folds under pressure!!

  • Sure, she cried to try and enthuse the woman in her column, but don't think that those tears were a sign of weakness by any means. When the odds were practically a million to one of her being chosen for the nomination, she still kept fighting as if she were just within reach.

The woman's a true warrior, though that worked both for her and against her in the end.

  • I will be so glad in the fall, after McCain wins and people who actually had the temporary insanity of even thinking about these 2 will snap out of it. We don't want an "obamanation."

  • Well, there are no guarantees for either side as of yet. Though it seems that John McCain is having a pretty tough week so far.

BTW, you plan to watch Black in America tonight?

It comes on CNN at 9 pm, if you're interested.

  • Probably not. I usually try to stick to comedies and such after a hard day's work. By the way, I'd say the same if it were a night of "White in America." too. Besides, I would rather see an "Americans in America" show. All this self-segregation is hindering our country. Thanks.

  • "I usually try to stick to comedies and such after a hard day's work. By the way, I'd say the same if it were a night of 'White in America.' too"

I understand. Personally, I'm not that into the self-segregation thing myself. I'm just glad that our story is gettin' out there - both the struggles that we've faced, the mountains that we've climbed, the barriers we've overcome and the challenges we still face.

Though if this weren't comming on, I'd either be watching AC360 or cartoons.

    lol

  • I just really don't want Obama .I'm not going to be a Clinton supporter turned Obama supporter.

I voted for Hillary but I don't believe that Obama is competent. Therefore "Party Unity my Ass"

    PUMA.

  • That's okay really. It's only some 3.2 million of you compared to the 17 million total of Hillary supporters who fought to the end. Therefore, you really don't pose a threat.

70%-75% of Hillary Supporters are willing to put heart-felt ambitions aside to help better this country. You unpatriotic PUMAs aren't going to quench the flame of change with your petty anger. Prepare to be doused come November.

  • After this, this converstion is thorugh. However, I want you to answer me this: Questionable associations aside, has Obama ever said anything remotely similar to that of Bill Ayers?

  • Did you

  • Is that supposed to be a rebuttal? Because right now, I am laughing in my seat. A personal attack towards an Obama supporter- that is not going to serve you well. If I wanted to, I could very well block you for about 48 hours. The reason I haven't done so is because, unlike some people, I believe in everyone having a voice. Why else do you think I've been debating with AboriusOwns for 3 weeks now?

  • Who spammed Teryaki?

  • He also has friends who are radical terriosts! Ayers is a radical terriost who wanted to bomb the capital. They are friends and he gavehim money to run. Who wants this in the White House. Not I

  • Seem to have some issues getting a post through...

    !TEST!

  • As much as I like Hillary I will not vote for Obama.

    McCain 2008!

  • That's nice.

  • If Obama the baby killer is going to pull the troops,we will have WW3. He is good friends with Ayers from the weather underground radical anti american group. He surrounds himself with people that hate America. Why would anyone vote for him. Satan himself!!

  • Wow. Now he's Satan. That such an effective attack.

  • Oh, and Hillary Clinto also proposed to pull out troops. Had she won, would you also claim there to be a WW3?

  • Obama is a ruthless killer who voted for Infantcide. This is to literally throw live newborn babies in the garbage. Obama is on you tube talking to HS students and calling children punishments. The world is in chaos about gas, prices, weather etc and the first thing he said he was going to do was sign the Freedom act to kill babies at any point in while a women is pregnant. We will be doomed if Obama gets in,with the grace of GOD he won't!!

  • All of the other crap you're saying aside, true as the vote record may be, what makes you think you know God's will?

How do you know his will isn't for Obama to get into office, to bring this country around? He's allowed Obama to get this far...what makes you so sure that he'll not allow Obama to make it to the White House?

  • Thou shall not kill, the ten commandments remember them or may you never heard of them!!

  • The bible also says "Judge not, lest you be judged."

We've all have controversial stances. I don't think you or anyone is in a good enough position to judge Obama over petty scandals or controversial legislation (though with the latter actually being a valid issue, I'll allow it to stand in this commentary).

  • Actually I think Obama is mentioned in revelations.

  • The Anti-Christ has a WORLDWIDE influence. He is capable of DECIEVING all of humanity. I don't think that he's managed to do either of these things. He fails to have the ENTIRE world back him. He's only managed to get a trickle over 1/2 the country on his side so far. Don't try to throw the Book of Revelations into the mix buddy. I studied that book up and down, left and right, inside out, and to Hell and back as a kid. I know that book better than you ever will.

  • Lets see all his scandals and controversial positions are over looked by the left wing media you can tell msnbc and cnn are cheering for him, Europe has moist panties over him, Hamas endorsed him. He may not have deceived the entire world but his deception is world wide. Look at his position on abortion not only is he for partial birth abortion but he opposed laws that would allow medical care to babies that survived abortion. Thats just plain evil.

  • Hamas may believe that he's Muslim, and therefore will had the US over to "Allah", but those of us with a functional brain know that Obama does not support Hamas. Don't believe everything the Right Wing media shoves down your throat.

And in regards to the Abortion topic, he made a sad mistake on that. It's all I can say. I don't expect a perfect president, and I surely don't expect someone who supports and opposes every single little issue that I do, seeing as even I'm against abortion.

  • But instead of whining about Obama's voting record, go against the abortion clinics just like that one atheist woman went against Christian children having the right to pray in school.

At the end of the day, it's the Abortion Clinics who actually commit the murders, not Obama, and not other abortion supporters in Wash. Push for a national legislation that bans abortion, because just sitting at your computer trying to convert me to a McCainicrat isn't going to do our nation's babies any good.

  • Did you not hear obama on the news, He said the first thing he is going to do is vote in the Freedom act. This is to take all laws off states and goverment and in place. Leave the abortion open to being able to abort that child in every month of pregnancy and even after it is born (INFANTCIDE). He is a cold hearted sick human being.

  • Dude the pro choice organizations don't even support putting abortion survivors on a shelf until they die like Obama does. He opposed the law in the state senate and luckily the law protecting abortion survivors was passed on a national level before Obama became a Senator. I'm not sure when his abortion cut off date is but his daughters look nervous to me.

  • I never said he supported hamas I was responding to your belief that he doesn't have the world deceived. If he made a mistake he should come out and give his stance on the issue and clear things up. As far as I can tell his position is keep killing them but give out birth control and teach 5 year olds sex education.

  • Give 5 yo's sex ed- when did he say this?!

  • You mean how often has he said this. Maybe if you stand back and take another look at your candidate you'll get a clearer picture of who he is.

  • I have more than enough of a picture of him. Senator Obama is a caring thoughtful man who means the best for this country. Not everything he supports is going to resonate with everyone - not even with me (it's more than obvious with you; you seem to question every portion of his proposal). However, I weigh both the positives and the negatives on the scale of judgement, and since he wants to better the economy, I'm still siding with the positive.

  • Oh, and I checked into your little claim that he supports Sex-Ed for Kindergarteners, and you're right. Only you left out a little detail - He means for it to be age appropriate. An obvious example of this would be to teach children from Kindergarten thorugh maybe...4th or 5th Grade about inappropriate touching. He isn't proposing that people actually teach little kids about the "Birds and Bees".

Please get your facts straight before talking to me about obviously ludicrous topics. ^_^

  • Who doesn't want to better the economy Obamas plans would devastate the economy worse than it is already. 1st off the Bush tax cuts raised the revenue of our country so how can repealing the tax cuts help get us out of recession? Increasing the cap on S.S. will hurt middle class and doubling the tax on capital gains will hurt everyone who isn't depending on S.S. for retirement. (continued)

  • (continued) Taxing oil companies seems like a good idea until you realize who they will be passing there extra expenses on to then your looking at the poor and middle class getting screwed again. Non of Obamas economic ideas make sense.

  • Yeah, and allowing Social Security to go undealt with has really helped our seniors. And I'm sure that those tax cuts for the wealthy are really going to help us in the long run, seeing as they don't contribute their wealth to try and lessen the burden on Middle-Class/Lower-Class citizens. And the fact that Bush refuses to make increased initiatives for further research in alternative energy sources is doing wonders for our gas [companies] prices.

  • Bush tried to fix social security but the dems stopped him.

The wealthy provide jobs by the way McCain is offering a plan that would give the middle class tax cuts that would save them about $2700 a year.

Bush has done more for alternative energy than any other president in history.

  • (continued from last post)

Yeah, I think I understand your concept: If the wealthy people are well off, then eventually, everyone else will be in as good a financial and economic state as they are. However, there's one little problem in your thesis: It never happens!

All throughout history, whenever certain people got rich, especially those with great influential power, they would greedily pillage the remainder of the people out of their money.

See any similarities with our eco-situation?

  • Very well, but I'd like for you to think of something for a second. The Book or Revelations states that the Anti-Christ will petition a treaty with Israel so that they will receive protection for seven years. However, at some point during that same 7-year period, that treaty will be broken. Has Obama made any sort of declaration in that regard?

Also, 5-10 countries in comparison to over a hundred worldwide (I really don't feel like getting technical) doesn't equal global influence.

  • Did you read the books Obama wrote. He hates whites and blames America. He even said his first book was bad for him polictally.Did you ever hear the saying, tell me who your friends are and I will tell you who you are. This speaks volumes about him. Let's look his nice friends. Ayers(terriost),Farakhan 9radical hates whites and especially jews),Wright( racist and damns america and on and on... He is dangerous and evil. Beware of his cunning smile.

  • He hasn't made any treaties because he's not president yet also as president he would have global influence.

  • In a sense, President Bush has had a Global influence. America is such an influential country that anyone who is in the seat in the Oval Office will have that national influence. President Truman had a National Influence when he engaged Germany and Japan during WWII. Does that make him the Anti-Christ?

Besides, if you actually read your bible, you'd know that, while the spirit of the Anti-Christ will be rampant in the world, the actual individual will not be revealed until the Rapture occurs.

  • Sorry, when I say "National Influence", I actually mean "International" Influence.

I've really gotta read my posts more carefully before pushing...THE BUTTON!!!

  • Obama hasn't been reveled as the anti-Christ as far as I know but everything he stands for has been rampant in the world for years. Hate racism and abortion have been rampant in the world all my life.

I have no love of Bush but if I agree with his policies I'll defend them. When I hear of Bush thinking he gets advice from God it makes me think of him as a false profit. Which is also mentioned in the Bible.

  • Obama's father was a practicing Muslim and whose mother was a radical Marxist, has stated that his mother "Was the dominant figure in my formative years and the values she taught me continue to be my touchstone in the world of politics". Common sense deductive reasoning suggests that Obama's rearing as a child, and his 20yr

relationships & conformity, with anti-American fanatics such as Rev. Wright, Frank Davis and William Ayers are in fact reflective of Obama's true psychological makeup.

  • Wow. Throwing Psychology into the mix. Now it gets interesting...

  • Babies are are gift from God, he does not want them thrown in the garbage.

  • True as this may be, you may want to attack these Baby Killers at the direct source. Why don't you try to attack the abortion clinics? That's where the heinous acts take place, not just in the Senate and in the House. Besides, you keep complaining about him voting against the bill, yet the bill passed anyway.

Seriously, you really need to shove it.

  • He apposed the bill on the state level it passed 100% support a year later in the national senate. Attacking the clinics isn't were the laws about abortion are made the laws are made in congress and the supreme court and the president appoints the members of the supreme court. With Obama appointing judges to the supreme court we'll have decades before abortion laws get repealed at the national level.

  • So you really think that he's going to appoint only Judges who support him on Abortion?

Look, I am enjoying this conversation with you, but please try and be a little more realistic. This issue is probably on the back-burner compared to the economy, war, immegreation, etc.

But if abortion is such an important issue to you, I hear that there will be a series of town-hall meetings throughout the country. Why not go to one and ask about the candidates' stance on abortion, to clear things up?

  • I know his stance on abortion and to think he wouldn't appoint pro choice judges is naive.

  • You seem very analytical of every single word he says, so what has he said or done to prove this point?

  • With his views on abortion and him having a democratic congress theres no reason to believe he wouldn't appoint judges that share his views all presidents do that. He thinks birth control and sex education is a middle ground topic on the issue. Its not. 1.4 million babies are killed in the USA per year. You can't dismiss the topic of legalized murder and replace it with reducing pregnancies. There 2 different issues.

  • The number of people who are supporting your so-called "cause" are currently slowly dwindling, so whatever.

  • Recent polls seem to suggest otherwise. Senator Obama has gained some support from female Clintonites over the past week. It looks like this revengeful coalition may be somewhat short lived.

  • I would vote for Colin Powell without thinking about it. I would vote for almost any other black person but I would not vote for Obama.

  • Looks like I get more flak on here than anything. What are your reasons for Not supporting Obama, seeing as racism is outta the way. lol

  • They will vote for MCCAIN because Obama kills infants tru infantcide and calls children punishments. He is Satan himself!!!

  • Cathyfa ... WTF? kills children? What are you talking about? you sound like a lunatic

  • no can do, Hillary! We love you but we won't forget what has been done to you by CNN, MSNBC & the Obama camp & his pastors. Misogyny, dirty tricks, negative propaganda, hate.

    we will remember in November!!

  • CNN, MSNBC & the Obama camp will constantly remind us of how dirty they were to Hillary when they do the same thing to McCain who is the most bipartisan member of the senate in my opinion and who was the media sweet heart when he ran against Bush in 2000.

  • Now I know that the media has made some sexist remarks towards Senator Clinton, I won't deny that. But how is it that suddenly, the media is supposed to talk soft on McCain? They've had somewhat minimal coverage on McCain up until last Tuesday. Is the media supposed to go strictly against the "insignificant Black man"? The "closet racist"? The "closet Muslim"? What you should be demanding from teh media is equal treatment. Not strict coverage on only Obama. All candidates are fair game.

  • McCain wishes to finish the war not continue it. In case you haven't noticed we have drawn down in Iraq. Obama's plan of immediate withdrawal will cause Iraq to collapse. neither candidate should get preferential treatment each scandal should be vetted until the majority of the public is satisfied with the outcome. The problem is Obama scandals are ignored for a year before the general media address's the issue and then only because Hillary and SNL point out the byist of the media. Its pathetic.

  • It may not be wise to you and other Republicans, but it seems that even the Iraqi government is starting to agree with Obama. They don't want us there. It may be unwise to pull our troops out from Iraq when it "seems" that we're making some sort of progress, but it's even more unwise to force our troops in a country that doesn't want us. If we do so, we may end up endangering our troops to a potential uprising by Iraqis against them.

  • That theory depends on which far left Bush hating web site/news station/news paper you get your information on.

  • Are you sure you're an independent?

Right now, you sound more like a White House official than anything.

I'm sure you're fine with the way the economy is, but a vast majority of the country, me included (as fairly well as I'm living) believe that this country is in the midst of a recession. You yourself said this.

  • I believe were in a recession but not a text book recession 2 quarters of negative growth. When gas prices and the minimum wage are about the same I have to say were doing something wrong. The only plan that makes sense to me is to drill more domestically while we develop alternate fuel. Both parties are tripping up the solution with there partisan bull.

  • We may not be in a "textbook recession", but why is it that we need to wait until that happens to try and restimulate the economy. Believe it or not, a stimulus check of some $600 is not going to help the economy as much as you would like the American people to believe.

We still need legislations passed. We need to change our spending habits, not just for recessions, but for everyday life to keep ourselves from getting into this mess again. We need tax-cuts and more governmental assistance.

  • Dude when did I say any of those things? I think the stimulus package is a joke. We need more tax cuts but the idea of gov assistance would depend on what kind your talking about. Whats hurting our economy is the gas prices, illegal immigration, sending jobs over seas, and Americans buying everything from foreign countries.

  • You do realize that Obama has a plan for these issues, right?

If you want, I'll brief you on these a little later.

  • Obama's plans are the same as the far left and not good for America.

  • Also, the vast majority of Americans in our country believe that the war in Iraq was a horrid idea. It's caused thousands of troops their lives, some several thousands (if not 10s of thousands) of troops their overall health and physical well being (meaning their limbs have been blown off) and has cost our country hundreds of billions of dollars of debt. If we don't get out of that country soon, we'll have a nearly impossible debt to be left to our children. Do you really want that for them?!

  • *sorry...

    "It's COST thousands of troops..."

  • I was against going to Iraq and criticized the way the war was fought up until the surge. You may not believe it but the surge is working and because of our actions I believe we owe the Iraqi people every opportunity to live in a stable country before we leave.

  • Also, why is it that the media and others have no right to treat Hillary Clinton poorly, yet you all are some how allowed, or obligated, to jump on Nancy Pelosi because she didn't support Hillary Clinton in regards to her Michigan and Florida proposal?

She's been told to "stay home and bake cookies", or to "stay out of politics, it's not her place". What makes this sort of language towards Nancy justifiable, but forbidden when used against Hillary Clinton?

  • The problem isn't that they treat Hillary or McCain poorly they have no problem treating them poorly its that they ignored Obamas past associations until March of this year. If they would have investigated him he never would have gotten the nomination.

  • The country had a good three months to think things over. With each finding of each scandal, this helped him lose some points. When he was gaining in Pennsylvania, he brought about the "bitter" controversy. This helped him to lose points with blue-collar voters there. When Hillary Clinton claimed that a person from Obama's camp had talks with a Canadian political official about NAFTA, this helped him lose Ohio (this was later found to be false.)

  • He's made his mistakes, had his scandals, but he always managed a rebound, as did Hillary Clinton. In fact, it's these scandals that have allowed Hillary to go on as long as she did. Had they not surfaced, she would've been out a long time ago.

Now yes, he has had some questionable associations. Every politician has. If every politician were to be investigated, I'm sure 85% at least would've been gone by now. But the American public has shown that these are not the issues that matter.

  • The American public knows what's important.

If they'll be able to support their kids. If they can keep up with the bills. If they can keep their homes or not. IF the can afford another week of groceries. If they'll be able to hold on much longer with the price of gas.

  • The American Public knows what's at stake. They know that they cannot allow themselves to be distracted by petty scandals and obtrusive findings. The Republicans revel in the findings on Obama throughout this Democratic Campaign. However, the American Public is not allowing these distractions to divert them from the problems that they face. Their voices have been heard throughout the Democratic Nomination process, and they'll be heard when they hit the polls in November.

    Obama '08!

  • Oh, and you never answered my initial question. What makes it justifiable to attack Nancy Pelosi, the speaker of the House of Representatives when it's supposedly a forbidden task, punishable by death when done to Hillary Clinton, the presidential candidate?

Why is it sexism when this is used on a presidential candidate who happens to be a female, but it's just speaking your mind when referring to Speaker Pelosi? What warrants such poor treatment towards her?!

  • I don't agree with attacking anyone because there sex race or religion. But attacking people for being sexist or racist or anti semitic is a must. If Pelosi is degraded for being female I am offended.

  • "If Pelosi is degraded for being female I am offended."

At least in that regard, we agree.

  • "...attacking people for being sexist or racist or anti semitic is a must."

That's a fair proposition. However, attacking Obama because of some thing that he said isn't fair - period. You attack him becuase of his pastor's remarks, because of a person who doesn't even go the church, and you judge him through the anger of his supporters.

  • [As Obama supporters} we all have said things that weren't right. But don't judge him just because of what his SUPPORTERS say. Don't judge him because of past and present associations with a handful of radicals. Judge him over what he does and what he says.

  • All in all, he has treated his opponents with respect. He has always praised Senator McCain for his war record before criticizing his political views.

  • He constantly praised Hillary Clinton. After every victory on her part, he congratulated him. He constantly praised her for her tenacity, her will to keep fighting until the end. He especially praised her during the latter part of the primaries. Although the DNC rewarded the delegates with 1/2 a vote, Obama had said that he insisted all of the Florida delegates be seated for Hillary Clinton. He was at the cusp of victory, but he refused to become overbearing. He was a gentleman throughout.

  • His radical associations over 20 years where he never did anything to show he didn't agree with them in fact he donated money to his preachers church and got tax payer money for his friend the radical priest. He even said he was leaving his church to protect them from scrutiny so even after all the bigoted racist anti American comments from the pulpit of his church he hasn't condemned there teachings.

  • Let me ask you this. You keep talking about how "we will remember in November" and "we'll never support Obama", and yet you seem to be going against what Senator Clinton wants. She's pleading for unity. She wants us united so that we can defeat McCain- not divided so that you can defeat Obama.

What in anything she has said could possibly suggest that she is proud of what you're trying to do? How is voting against the person she's endorsed going to help matters any?

    Please think about this.

  • I will vote dem if Hillary is on the ticket. No Hillary, no dem vote from me. It's my prerogative. Hillary would be proud of me for thinking for myself. It's the Obama camp that promotes mindless sheep!

  • I suppose that by endorsing Obama, Hillary Clinton has joined the fold of "mindless sheep."

Is that what you're saying of her?

  • Her most loyal supporters, maybe...though when they realize his stances, I'm sure they'll turn around. However, Hillary's strong yet balanced supporters will do the honorable thing and stand by Obama. They know and we know that we cannot afford another 4 year Bush term.

  • McCain isn't anything like Obama lets not forget how much the media loved McCain when he was running in 2000 against Bush and that in 2004 John Kerry asked McCain if he would be interested in the VP position.

  • Yeah, I've always found that funny regarding John Kerry.

Nonetheless, you're correct. Senators Obama and McCain are not alike (outside of the fact that they're both human).

Senator McCain wishes to continue the war in spite of the message that he tries to create that he hates war. Senator Obama has always despised war, particularly the war in Iraq. There's no clear objective there, as often as they are modified, and truely no point in staying there.

    (cont.)

  • Senator McCain has no clear plan on how to fix America's Economy. He wishes to leave the repairation of the economy to America, basically saying that "it's your problem". While it may seem constrictive, Obama wishes to have a government-run economy that is restabilized. His plan for doing this includes lowering taxes for middle[and lower]-class citizens, ensuring middle-class citizens and working families have tax-breaks, and revoking the tax breaks from wealthy CEOs who don't need them.

  • they should all vote for Ron Paul

  • Okay...Thanks for the advice.

*security escorts nomecuadra off the premises*

  • Hello? if you were taken against will away from your country of freedom , I think you will be commited to where you come from. Do you think in Africa a black person suffered discrimination ? hell no? so i think its more comfortable to be committed to a place that won't discredit you based on your skin. so shut the hell up.

  • Alright, this baby's back up! Comment away!

  • I certain she said these things before the Pfleger fiasco.

  • Hey all. I'm going to have to disable comments for a few days. I'm at an important convention (refer to earlier comment) and I'll only have a very limited amount of time to be online and filter comments. However, I ensure you that when I return from the convention, I will re-enable comments. I apologize for any potential inconvenences this may create.

  • Well, I'm turning in for the night. I probably won't get to you for a few days since I'm heading outta town on a buisness trip. But if you still wish ot say something, by abll means, go ahead.

  • He can't handle Rev. Wright because he'd have to admit he agrees with a racist. By the way he didn't have to sit and listen to that 1 ignorant reverend if he had a back bone he would have taken his family out of that church 20 years ago. Seriously being President is harder than running for President. How about if he wins and 4 years from now he has to campaign and run the country at the same time. If he can't campaign he definetly can't run the nation.

  • I've made so many comments defending him regarding Jeramiah Wright that my fingers should've fallen off. I'm no longer going to deal with it. America has decided that they are no longer concerned with this, and if You have any backbone, you'll shut your trap about it and discuss the actual issues (economy, the Iraq War, etc.). That's the problem with you people (Hillary supporters and Republicans). Instead of discussing the issues that truly matter, you continue to filter crap.

  • I've made so many comments about crap issues like Wreverend Wright and Flag Pins on Lapels, that I've just now gotten to checking up on the issues won which Obama makes his stances. However, I actually have you to thank for getting me to look at his plans for America. The abortion thing and his "supposed" rising of taxes got me fired up to check it out and make an effective rebuttal. So Kudos to you AdoriousOwns. :)

  • JW is an issue to me. It address' BO's judgment and compitance. He wants to sit down unconditionally with Iran Syria North Korea and Venesuala. He isn't qualified to do that.

Race isn't an issue with Americans because BO is black its and Issue because BO is a racist.

I already know his position on the economy he wants to raise taxes his position on Iraq lets leave and let them all kill each other

  • So you're a republican?

[Regarding Wright] Say what you want about it. I'm not dealing with it anymore.

  • Nope I'm Democrat I voted for Gore and Kerry. If John McCain would have beat Bush in 2000 I would have voted for him though. I always felt having a president who could reach across party lines was important. Barack has never even tried to reach out to republicans ever so why would I even consider him.

  • Well I'm quite suprised that you are a Democrat. You criticize that Senator Obama is saying that he will pull out troops within the first year of his term, and yet you seem to ignore the fact that Hillary Clinton has also said that she will pull out troops from Iraq. And if I recall correctly, there are only subtle differences with their plans, not nearly substantial enough to make either one stand out on top.

  • Like I said I'm a democrat but I think pulling out of Iraq will result in the people living there getting butchered. I also said in 2000 i would have voted for McCain over Gore and in 2008 I'll vote McCain over either dem. I think Obama would screw up the US and the rest of the world worse than it is now.

  • Very well. I'm just saying that if you're going to criticize Senator Obama for saying that he's going to pull troops out of Iraq, then you should give Senator Clinton that same criticism. You can't be on both sides of the fence without smashing your nuts...so to speak.

  • When I'm talking about Obama I criticize Obama when I'm talking about Hillary I critcize Hillary I even criticize McCain only problem is Obamas the only one of the 3 that I think is as bad as Bush was for his 1st term. We can't go through that again.

  • hmm i wonder. can anyone even make America worser than it is now? cause if i was Obama i wouldn't want to rule this dump that bush has made..and please shut up you not a Democrat ;You see in Voting either your a republican or democrat , you can't swing places if you understand ther basic principles. Only reason for switching boils down to one thing.. RACIST much. ( u voted gore.. u think your little mind game works? you know for some the darker your skin or hair.. the less they like you so gf).

  • No sorry to disappoint you but I'm not racist although Obama might be. If Colon Powell was running he would have my vote. I would even vote Condi Rice before I'd vote Obama. Why? Because Obama has issues with who he associates with. These aren't just people who support him but they are long time associates of his.

  • His cocaine use is an issue too.

  • He doesn't use cocaine now you idiot.

  • I'm suprised that you even bother to bring it up.

He admitted fairly early in his campaign that he used cocaine. He's talked about it to high schoolers and college students, while explaining why they should avoid going down that path.

There are a lot of people who have used cocaine and other drugs, managed to kick the habit, and have turned their lives around for the better and are making a positive difference in America.

  • The problem is you are missing the point. Maybe none of these issues are important by them self but if you add them up you have a pattern. In his book he talks about cocaine use supporting muslims over christians when his white friend tried to express some understanding of how BO felt as a minority BO got angry and wanted to punch him he resents his white family who didn't abandon him all that just from his book

  • now add his pictures dressed in muslim garb on 2 different occasions i know somoli garb but somolia is 100% muslim so its muslim garb. His racist church and pastor his opinion of "typical white people" "Clinging to guns and religion" Bill Airs the terrorist the real estate scandel coruption in puerto rico stance on abortion especially survivors of abortion his wifes comments 1st time proud and Amer. is a hateful country + her racist college thesis I know i'm leaving somethings out. It adds up

  • I know you're trying to get me to continue making these rebuttals so that you can continue yacking about these conspiracies and patterns. Quite frankly, I think you're just looking for some attention.

If you're going to continue talking about this crap that's supposed to invoke fear and doubt, then I'm done talking to you. I liked it better when you was talking about him killing babies.

  • You may not like hearing your candidates faults but that doesn't make them crap. If the points I made invoke fear and doubt its because they should his opinions associates and past voting record are all scary.

  • This really does back up what Senator Obama has been talking about - people focusing on the mess, invoking fear and doubt in the American People, trying to distract them from the issues that are truly important. Now, I obviously don't come from your standpoint, so I can't see the importance in all that you're saying.

  • However, what issue would you really want to focus on when November rolls around and [theoretically] Obama's on the ballot: What his pastor said for 20 yrs., or whether you'll be able to keep your home next month? Some cont reversal legislation that he supported or opposed, or whether or not you can continue to afford to feed your kids? Would you rather put in a republican who will do nothing for the economy, or a democrat who, despite his faults wishes nothing but the best for his country?

  • Would you rather a person who supports Bush's current taxes breaks for the wealthy, or Obama/Clinton's tax breaks for the middle-class? Would you rather have someone in office who supports the continuation of benefits for big oil, which helps to continue to push gas prices to all-time highs and wants to give drivers a petty 23 dollars during the summer, or would you rather vote for someone who will increase taxes for gas companies and help decrease our dependency on foreign oil?

  • I was against Bush's tax cuts but repealing them when we're on the verge of a recession is stupid which is McCains stance also. The dems ran there 06 campaigns on lowering gas prices and since they took over congress gas prices have almost doubled the republicans just defeated a bill the dems were proposing that would have raised gas prices even more.

  • President Bush has vetoed a vast majority of their bills. We need a democrat in the office to allow anything to get done in this country. If we get another Republican, we'll be at a stand-still at BEST for the next 4 years.

  • You can't allow the house senate and president to all be from the same party thats how we got in trouble in the first place. Switching from all republican to all democrat is just making a bad thing worse.

  • Obamas lack of judgment over the last 20 years is the issue its not what was said its that Obama didn't see anything wrong with it for 20 years. McCain wants to keep the Bush tax cuts and give more tax cuts to the middle class Obama wants to raise the capital gains tax raise the cap on social security and repeal the Bush tax cuts. I think McCain has a better stance on the economy if you compare what they have proposed.

  • Wait, what?! Senator McCain supports Tax Cuts for Corporations, as does George Bush! Senator Obama wants tax-cuts for middle-class citizens, and even further tax cuts for working families! He also wishes to simplify the tax filing forms for the middle-class so that we can comprehend it better, and get the most out of our tax returns! What the Heck are you talking about?!

  • McCain voted against the Bush tax cuts but is against repealing them because it would devastate the economy. McCain wanted tax cuts for the middle class and wanted spending cuts to offset the reduced tax income. Regardless no tax cut is going to help Americans if gas keeps going up a $1.50 per year.

  • "McCain wanted tax cuts for the middle class and wanted spending cuts to offset the reduced tax income."

This may be true, but he still is hesitant to revoke the tax-breaks from the CEOs of the big companies, particularly oil companies, who in no way need them and didn't even ask for them, as I've said too many times already.

"Regardless no tax cut is going to help Americans if gas keeps going up a $1.50 per year."

Yeah, and I suppose McCain's gas-tax plan will help a lot in that regard.

  • Revoking tax cuts, doubling the capital gains tax and increasing the cap on social security are all bad idea's during a recession. This will definitely be change you can count on ruining our economy.

The gas tax cut is to lessen the pain at the pump its not a cure. We need to drill more until we can figure out how to implement our alternate fuels better because currently the fuel from corn is just making food pries higher.

  • So, revoking tax cuts from companies who have more money than they can spend so you get a small increase in revenue is a bad thing? A very interesting way of thinking.

Out of curiosity, is the Payroll Tax for Social Security what you're talking about? Last time I checked, while that is a tax increase, that helps increase the amount of money used to cover a senior citizen through social security.

    (cont.)

  • In regards to gasoline, the tax-cut offers minimal INITIAL relief. You only get a little over $20.00 back with the plan, and even with that, the gas companies will just raise the prices to compensate for the tax. Plus, with John McCain's plan, the Gas Companies don't even pay the tax, so it's passed over the next group: American Citizens. At least with Hillary's plan the gas companies had to pay the tab.

    (cont.)

  • Also, we don't necessarily need to drill for more oil. If we improve fuel standards in our automobiles and make them more affordable for the average consumer, we'll be able to invest less in foreign oil. Plus, we have reserves that haven't even been used yet. That may help lower gas prices briefly.

    (cont.)

  • Another way to drop gas prices is to further invest in other forms of energy. We already have and use Nuclear, Wind, and Solar energies. We just need to expand these sources further and use them more often. If we make regular use of these energies, the prices for coal and oil will drop significantly as demand goes down. Less demand usually equals lower prices, since there isn't a pressing need to continue manufacturing of that product.

  • All of this is located in the Obama Plan.

If you don't believe me, which I doubt you will, you can see for yourself at his website, or download the PDF file of his plan for America.

Just click on the Issues tab at the top of the site, and download the Blueprint For Change PDF file. It's the very first thing you'll see.

  • *correction: "If we DECREASE fuel standards..."

  • The Bush tax cuts have increased revenue and created new jobs. They went to every one not just the rich. Those tax cuts should be made permanent and more tax cuts should be given to the middle class.

Increasing the cap on social security is a direct tax on the middle class. You don't raise taxes on the middle class when your on the verge of a recession. It would have been ok 5 years ago or maybe 5 yrs from now but not while our economy is struggling.

  • By the way this is the guy who wants to sit down unconditionally with every dictator in the world.

  • (Legitimate issue.)

Did he say "every dictator in the world"?

    No.

What he said was that America shouldn't be comfortable talking just to its friends, but we should also be willing to talk to hour enemies.

That is what he said on that issue.

Oh, before I log off, I should point out that if Senator Obama couldn't handle the pressure, he would've dropped out by now. The Bible states that "Power isn't rewarded to the swift or the strong, but to he who endureth to the end."

  • Your the one who said he couldn't handle the rev wright contravecy not me

  • I can tell that you're getting desprate and aggravated. I love how you people don't read the entire comment. What I said is that the stress forced him to take a brief break. I never said that he couldn't handle the controversy.

Oh, and I saw that "Quit talking out your ass" thing. I'm allowing you to express your views, no matter how liberal. However, if you continue to spew out personal insults such as that, I will block you. I have only given you respect. I expect to receive the same.

  • Although that is were your talking from I apologize for saying it I'm responding to a few videos and the others are less civil.

  • Hey, I can understand. I've gone off on Hilary supporters - even her base in entirety because of the aggravation that I've expereinced from dealing with some people.

Now don't get me wrong, you're no walk in the park, but you are far more civil than a lot of people I've dealt with.

  • Who's huffing and riffing all the attitude, bub? Face it. Obama will be next US president. Then you can go and try to protest, when you wouldn't protest Bush who stole the election.

  • This is why what Obama has done in his past will never blow over. Its because people like you can't forget the past so why should anyone else. I voted for Gore in 2000 but I got over it so why don't you stop being so angry and move on.

  • The way your talking? i think you voted for Bush , and same goes for all Hillary supporters that want to jump to Mcain.. it doesn't take rocket science to decipher your racist agenda's if you are a democrat and you dont agree with Obama's policies over clinton's then stay at home.. but saying "no ahe can't win and voting Mcain.." either that you didnt back hillary because of her policies which makes you a flat out racist and possibly sexist and if you vote Mcain Your not a real democrat. RACIST

  • No I guess I'm not a real democrat I should probably be an independent since I'm willing to look at both sides and pick who I think is better for America. I didn't like Hillary either although she at least gave me the impression she could run the country.

  • One more thing before I log off. You constantly refer to Obama's supposed racist and sexist comments. You and other [hard core] Hilary Supporters try to label him as a racist through Guilt by Association. However, why is it that Senator Clinton continues to accept the support of White Racist voters? You talk about what would happen if a white politician made racist comments, I believe that accepting racist support is just as bad, if not worse. If you don't believe me, check out my VC.

  • Like I said earlier "Race isn't an issue with Americans because BO is black its an Issue because BO is a racist." 92 % of blacks are supporting Obama so why is it that your not calling them racist.

  • Exactly my sentiment This is confirmed by Obama's knowledge of attacks on USA in Wright sermons, his comments about being ashamed of being white, blaming his cocaine use on his racial problems, his growing animosity towards whites, and his comments about siding with the Muslims if there was a war with Christians. These are all from Obama's book Dreams of My fahter written years ago. Mike needs to get the book and ask himself some questions as this will all come out in the General Election.

  • Oh I plan on getting this book, as well as The Audacity of Hope. I also intend to get a different interpretation from it than you two have. The fact that you all just nitpick every small discrepancy in everything he writes and says shows that you all are hypocrites. You say that we need to stop being "sexist" and lay off of Hilary, that we as Obama supporters should stop being so sensitive, and yet you search for every possible excuse to hate Obama, and blow up on us when we criticize Hillary.

  • When a vast majority of Blacks were voting for Hilary Clinton, you and the rest of her supporters weren't uttering a single complaint. Whenever your candidate is down, you blame everyone who isn't voting for her. You act as if she is so perfect, so holy, so free of sin, that anyone who doesn't support her is a spawn of Satan himself.

Really, you didn't even complain after Iowa, or South Carolina. But the second she started losing ground, y'all started up with this mess.

    (cont.)

  • It wasn't until he won virtually every single Primary and caucus from Alamabma (February 5th) to Hawaii (February 19th) that y'all started complaining about him getting so much of the Black Vote. I've yet to hear Obama complain about the support that she's received. His only gripe about all this is that IF he claims the nomination, how will he get Clinton supporters to be willing to join his campaign come fall.

  • We are not WHITE RACIST voters we are people who know from Obama's books that he is RACIST and sat in this church for 20 years as his books show he agrees with Wright's philosophies. He embraced Black Theology,Black VALUE system the church is racist on paper with NO pastor necessary. Somesay Obama will be indicted for Mail fraud after Rezko trial. Obama again associated with Puerto Rico Govenor indicted on largest Puerto Rican corruption trail. WHy does Obama always gravitate towards the crooks?

  • You are racist you hack.

"Black Theology,Black VALUE system the church"

Tell me three things about Black Theology or Black Value System...we already know what White Theology and White Value System is...it usually begins with the description of frozen rain and ends with the name of a famous, suicide commiting German painter.

Look in the mirror and tell yourself you are a racist, punk.

  • There racist

They have a non-negotiable commitment to Africa instead of the U.S.A.

    They lie to there congregation

  • I didn't ask for your opinion, I said point them out, as in quote. You cannot. Knowledge falls deaf on the ears of fools.

  • You called me a racist but get offended because I believe Black Theology and the Black value system is racist. I believe this because of the Revs videos and there web site. Why don't you do the same research Dwayne and find out what your defending. Who names there kid Dwayne anyway. Let me tell you Dwayne why don't you stop assuming anyone who disagrees with you is a racist. You have no idea what your talking about.

  • Only a racist lookign for an equal racial cause would want to watch reverend Wright's sermon to justify thier own personal racial agenda... its just like me saying.. omg hitlers skin is white and i t
