once you put soy sauce oil and ginger it turns into 'nikei ceviche' which is ceviche made by asian peruvians or peruvian with asian heritage mostly japanese heritage you should talk about it so more ppl know the many kinds of ceviche and ethnics groups we have ..... but watermelon ?isnt the sweetness of the watermelon take off all the flavor of the acid of ceviche?
@cocopacho but one more thing ... u forgot the acid .....u cannot call it ceviche if there's not lime juice (im peruvian believe me,my parents and grand parents been doing this for a long time ).....if i would call that a tuna sushi without roll ....many japanese and ppl that know about sushi would say its not a sushi ...well anyways nice try on your tuna watermelon salad
Ceviche ( whether you are Ecuadorian or Latin of other states ) uses lime ( or lemons ) to pickled and cook the raw fish or seafood such as fish , scallops and even prawns ( prawns are par-boiled ) .

THIS IS NOT CEVICHE. Ceviche uses an acid to 'pickle' or 'cook' the raw fish. Very misleading and useless if your looking for Ceviche how-to video.
