What a great car!!! the only thing.. a 3.90 ratio is a bit short with the standard 14 inch wheels. There's so much torque on tap with these ram air engines that the standard 3.55 axle is more than enough gear. I have driven several GTO's and owned two.. These beasties will have you shifting fast, and taking care NOT to lay in the throttle too much in the lower gears. They don't need a 3.90 axle!

This engine is just about what my first engine was, a 69 400 .30 over ported & polished shaved #13's with a 292D 501 on 501 lift Comp MAGNUM, it was mated to a TH475 rebuilt with a TCI master race kit with a B&M Stage 3 Shift kit B&M 3,500 stall.
Real PMD real American, not some import with a SBC!
