OK, 3 basic pieces of info to allow a proper debate for this theme.
1. More than 80% of our O2 is produced by ALGAE and NOT trees or grass. So dumping trash and oil in the oceans is worse than people might think.
2. The most harmful gas, the carbon monoxide, comes from incomplete combustion of fuel. It may cause headaches and can be mistaken for a mild flu.
3. There is also Nitrogen Oxide. This gas contributes to various harmful features and the most commonly known is the Acid Rain

There is 0.00037% max CO2 in the air - though it is probably dow nto 0.0002% over the pacific. THe important gas, is waer vapour, at 10%.
