What your implying is correct. This is not a basic EC Swing step but an advanced amalgmation. And it fits the music nicely. Give it a try. You'll see.

You have the triple steps and rock step down but it looks more like a ballroom style than actual swing. Plus you can't lead most of this in a social setting without her knowing everything before hand. This is stage performance style. Just my opinion.

After u do it a few times, it's a very easy step and -- as you suggest -- showy. From an underarm turn it is a cinch to lead .. after practice, of course.

yes, i know what he/she was saying. this would need to be chereographed. you probably couldn't get a follow who is a complete stranger to do this properly.

I think this video was posted to demonstrate a specific move, but since the commentary doesn't really explain anything that is happening (except basic swing counting), I don't understand what I'm supposed to be picking up from this
