This 'captain' is in the national guard...an outcry from the front line troops...given that the national guard are mighty fine at filling sandbags. Every soldier downrange loves ANY mail they get. Unfortunately, it is impossible for any soldier troop to 'stand up' against the system of the Armed Forces/Dept of Defense, we are stuck in contract and will be time our time is up. This 'captain' is in the national guard...an outcry from the front line troops...given that the national guard are mighty fine at filling sandbags. Every soldier downrange loves ANY mail they get. Unfortunately, it is impossible for any soldier troop to 'stand up' against the system of the Armed Forces/Dept of Defense, we are stuck in contract and will be time our time is up. I think those programs should be shut down entirely. After all That is their job, to find, seek out and capture or eliminate small numbers of persons.

Being in the military does not nullify citizenship, and as citizen soldiers, we vote. We have the right to know, and the people have a right to know, the whole truth. Most soldiers have no idea of the real reasons we are sent, and this advocate of some utopian world of some free-speech society the US Marines claim they protect would themselves sooner be rid of it, and would rather have the paranoid "peace" of a military brig, not the messy, noisy, free exchange of democracy.
