  • indy, why does the floor not move?

  • I am so damn glad to hear they're now working on a new album.

  • HOLY. SHIT. mindfuck. AMAZING

  • Ich bin sprachlos

  • goddamn, this is great.

  • 10 people are idiots!

  • Just heard Patton made the zombie noises for I am legend FFT

  • Wow.

  • mi tema. MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYDAAAAAAAAAAAAY con los examenes xD

  • Mike could make taking out the garbage sound good and look damn fine while he does it!

  • PATTON IS GOD

  • so horribly sick

  • one of the best bands ever to hit rock n roll

  • FUCK YES.

  • this..is..fucking..sick

  • That drummer is so fucking consistent. What a BEAST!

  • ..likes this ..

  • this reminds me of Ross's "sound" on Friends hahahha

  • Mayday, mayday, gotta get down on mayday

    SORRY xD

    Love Tomahawk x3

  • This band's course ran way too quick. Bungle meets Lizard meets Cows/melvins with Helmet foundation? Legion of fucking Doom, just like Fantomas. I hope they reconnect in a year or three.

  • @PDXCHawk acording to recent interviews duane has been sending patton music and he's got it in the works so yeah there should be a future for them

  • @mindbait Thumbs up times a thousand. and one.

  • @mindbait I sooooooo hope this is true! This is one of my favorite projects of his! Wish I could have seen them live!

  • @mindbait I talked with Duane Dennison after a recent Legendary Shack Shakers show (AWESOME!!!) and he told me, New Tomahawk, early 2012!!!

  • @ZaGaZigZag ah i love LSS, read about them in an interview with Duane so hit up youtube and within a week or so i was ordering a copy of 'pandelirium'!!

  • Comment removed

  • @PDXCHawk the new album is in the works from what Patton has said

  • @MrDrwillard420 That's gotta be the best news I've heard in a long time. Now if we could just get a petition started for a new Bungle album.

  • @SecretAgent068 apparently dunn is playing bass on the next tomahawk album and they're going to record late this year or january 2012, according to an interview with duane

  • The cool thing about Mike Patton is that he doesn't care about being "Famous." He does what he does because he loves experimenting with music and sounds. Which makes him famous. :) Even in HoRRywood now he lends so much of his unique talent to soundtracks and sound effects. Look up "I Am Legend Mike Patton" to find out that he voiced every zombie in that movie. So now, possibly, Will Smith even knows the awesomeness of Patton.

  • interesting band

  • I got to see Tomahawk open for Tool many years back when they were a relatively new band. I had no idea who they were but they rocked, a minute or so in I thought " oh shit that's Mike Patton". Been listening ever since.

  • delivering excellent music is like making a cheese sandwich to mike patton, no effort is needed and the outcome is brilliant

  • Mindbait, Mmmhahah, nice name.

  • @M1105X why thank you ;-)

  • @M1105X i agree with it in all it's competeness

  • patton is ahead of his time , he is in very good but select company.

ihave no doubts the robot residents of Earth 4010 will regard him as some sort of appostle

  • @dubyajay13 or, maybe, Messiah...

  • this guy has a wonderful voice when he sings properly....his big problem is that he never had a great band ......and he does not cause he wants to do it all by himself...and i think is time to stop at his age making that stupid sounds with his voice.....all thiss band ssounds like faith no more whats the fucking point splitting with them

  • @zullone LOL usually i try and make my counterpoints to a persons Gross ignorance creatively or at least with some constructive criticism. But i think you have earned yourself sumthing a little more...err direct: WHAT, ARE YOU RETARDED OR JUST HARBORING A FEW EXTRA CHROMOSOMES? YOU OBVIOUSLY HAVE ZERO CONCEPT ON WHAT A "GOOD BAND " IS. Oh and btw FNM split with him cause sir james martin couldnt handle patton overreaching the rest of band. But i digress. Radio music =/= good music.

  • @zullone

Patton never had a great band? Mr. Bungle was about as talented as they come.

  • Holy fuck the intro.

  • Nice .....front to chile

  • sick guitar solo

  • Great, another Melvins rip off

  • @yovioleatuzorramadre - Jesus you're clueless.

  • @jz881 I know is hard to accept that patton is overrated and gay and that he never sings in a good band (except bungle and fantomas)

  • I was looking around to find out where John Stanier from Helmet went and found 3 bands he is in, cause he is in my top 3 of drummers of all time..Not in speed, double basspedal, but his style & 100% tightness and of course the sound of his snaredrum which was awesome in HELMET.This is NOT my style.Battles where he also plays are horrible.Im very disappointed, cause its such a waste of talent by Stanier. Now U call Hamilton and kick out the present drummer in HELMET and get behind that kit again.

  • @NorthernPanzer666 its a good thing hes not living his life by your standards

  • That drummer isn't that great.

  • @metatronsfury John Stanier is the Masterchief :) But his drum-skills was much more obvious when he played in Helmet.. I'm only looking at this band now, cause I checked his present bands out on Wiki!! But He was legendary in Helmet!! And when Helmet was re-united some years ago, it was without Stanier...Big loss. Cause Helmet's style demands a tight drummer..And the typical Helmet snaredrum sound..It's so clear to hear if he is playing or one of the new does..He can't be replaced...

  • Is the beginning the same drum beat they use in Captain Midnight? They sound rather similar.

  • God it's great to see people playing with energy and a packed venue.

  • Ok so i recently knew that Faith No More aren't doing more shows and i was sad =( but then i remember that M. Patton still has awesome bands like this one =)

  • @XPlayer30 FNM are doing a few more shows, a couple of US dates and at least one in Chile i think

  • @mindbait thank god they are coming chile, i miss the last one

  • @mindbait

One show in LA at the end of November ( got my tickets already!!) and one in Chile in like December I think. They played in San Fran and New York already. They just randomly have announced shows. Kinda cool.

  • Epic as fuck....as always

  • some awesome effects used in this and mad improv at the start! lol the drummer mustve been tired as fuck by the end of this show tho! RESPECT! patton rules and his 500 bands lol.

  • @rawfflecakes the drummer's name is John Stanier and apparently he's well known for his crazy stamina, he's also in the bands mark of cain and battles (and he used to be in helmet)

  • @mindbait ahh i knew the drummer looked familiar. in Battles he keeps that one crash cymbal like 6 feet in the air haha

  • @mindbait Helmet with Stanier is awesome music to rock out to

  • lmfao i thought this was mayday by flobots

  • @austin360fly instead it's something even better ;p

  • @mindbait there good but i like flobots for there lyrics

  • Hammer hart auf die Ohren

    Hammer hard on the ears

  • I've always wondered.. Why the fuck does Mike wear a hairnet? I know he's been wearin it for a while and all.. its hardly just for how it looks?!

  • This band was meant to be live. I think their album should have just been a live album, the studio version doesn't do them justice.

  • @ComradeMakhno yeah though they can be a sloppy live sometimes, i've seen this video of them doing 'god hates a coward' and mike accidentally leaves his gas mask mic turned up and their whole performance is drowned out by feedback!

  • @ComradeMakhno

Lets be greddy and ask for the 2 ;)

I do belive the studio version its amazing, but also the live performances are amazing, so i want both

  • maaaaadddaaaay maaayyddaaaaayy maaaayydaaaaayy

  • i will never find a band thats like tomahwak, nor will i find a musical genius like mr. patton.

i hope he's immortal, like keanu reeves...

  • Nice Drumms OMFG PATTON!

  • This guy is constantly busy.

No other vocalist works harder at his craft.

  • Muy bueno !!!

  • brings more fuck than the studio version..

  • some stranger gave me the first album when it came out on irc, never thanked him enough for it

  • HEY look kids it's MIKE PATTON :D

    *clapping and cheering*

  • oooouuuuyyyeeeeaaaahhh

  • ORGASMICCCCCCCC

  • "i handed in my two weeks notice...as of two fukking weeks ago..."!!!!!!!!

  • This=Godly

  • When Mike Patton is around every thing is good, with tomahawk, Mr bungle, Fantomas, Faith no more, Moonchild, and more again, this guy is genius and work with fuckin good people:mathematics!!

  • I always loved that way Stanier plays the drums. Pretty great group, only good musicians!

  • I don't know what's with the dark clothes, but he looks great dressed in black...

God, I need more Tomahawk! In a recent interview Mike stated that there's no plans for an album now, but he also said that eventually it'll happen. I don't think we'll hear from them this year, since he's involved with several projects, including FNM and Mondo Cane. He's one hell of a busy man.

  • Did you say FNM? really? ....cool

  • Well, when I said FNM I meant that he's currently on tour with them, and apparently in 2010 they'll be touring a couple of cities in the U.S and in Europe. Plus, in his FB page he said that he had just remastered all of the Mondo Cane songs that are going to be released in the official album this year, and that he was now working on the artbook.

So I guess he's pretty busy with that already and that we won't be hearing from Tomahawk at least this year.

  • the drummer is pretty good

  • every band he touches turns to gold 8D

  • Ill say it again.....WE ALL LOVE HIS HAIRNET!

    Agreed?

    good.

  • Mike Patton gives me chills when he sings. its fucking mind blowing.

  • yes he gives me goose pimples....freakin sick!

  • what do you mean whats with the dark clothes whats with the rose color glasses

  • What's with the dark clothes?

  • very cool hairnet

  • the effects are so insane

  • is that a.....hair net?

  • oh yeah, he loves his hairnet

  • it's wired but now i too want to don a hairnet

  • we all love his hairnet.

  • SONO INCREIBLE.

  • PATTON = EVIL SATAN his the son of the devil LOL goddam!! i love this shit!

  • Simple, good song writing. Period.

  • love the deep dark atmosphere of this song... what a creation!

  • mayday...mayday!!!...mike is the best!...

  • fuck yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • It does not matter if someone does the same drum beat for an entire song, as long as the song sounds good, It is a creative drum line that fits the song, and that makes him a good drummer.

  • God damn thier drumer is good!

  • John Stanier, ex-drummer of Helmet. One of the best.

  • so what

  • tomahawk are an unknown jem, in a sane world they would have sold 50 million albums, i've had their their first 2 cd's since release but i've been listening to them alot of late and i can't get enough

  • " in a sane world they would have sold 50 million albums"

    yes

  • The whole group is fucking talented. I like Patton, but come on lets not forget the other guys.

  • stanier is ...the most awesome fuckin drummer

  • Comment removed

  • Awesome... the drummer is dope.

  • Duane rocks the guitar like a Michigan man should! I feel he needed some props;-)

  • duane is a guitarist and half! ...well actually he's just one guitarist but he's very very good

  • honestly the all rock i love patton and they compliment him well :)

  • @numbchucking

I feel exactly the same way!

2 week ago a saw Patton with Faith No More and this was the most inspiring concert in my life! If I have the chance to see Tomahawk some day, it would be another dream come true!

  • Where in the holy fuck have I been. I'm just now appreciating the genius of Mike Patton. I never ignored it just wasn't around it.

  • @numbchucking He's so fucking awesome.

  • @numbchucking Now you're in the right way, brother.

  • Where was this?

    (Dónde fue esto?)

  • sol musica festival, in france somewhere i'm guessing since somewhere in the show he says "je suis merde, tomahawk e merde. sol musica tres magnifique"

  • Mr. Dennison, you are amazing.

  • I saw Fantomas perform in P-town Oregon, with Locusts opening. In the Roseland theatre venue, I say I liked Locusts more. Fantomas, to my ears, is better on record. Would love to hear more Tomahawk though!

  • this performance rocks. i think i like it better than the album version.

  • i have a dream. fantomas opening for tomahawk, opening for faith no more. i get a boner just thinking about it

  • yeah well fantomas have opened for tomahawk before so it's not impossible but i kind of think tomahawk might be dead in the water (hope not though)

  • I'm still waiting for the Peeping Fantomas Faith No Bungle Tomahawk Big Band.

  • @medpat19 Opening for Mr. Bungle

  • @medpat19 fantomas opening for tomahawk opening for mr bungle opening for faith no more. ooooooohhhhhgod that needs to happen now.

  • @Mcruled That would be the best thing in the history of awesome!

  • @medpat19 Hahaha... Shit dude, that's AWESOME!!!

  • @medpat19 Im 100% with you. Though I think it the order should be reversed. :)

  • i has a carrot

  • bring on the tomahawk reunion :)

  • ha ha they haven't even broken up yet (officially) ...i agree, though it should wait until after a bungle reunion

  • Patton uses different microphones so well for specific effects... and this performance just absolutely throws down

  • Who is the drummer? I like his playing.

  • John Stanier, also played/plays in the bands Helmet, Mark of Cain and Battles

  • The audience is soooooooooo boring!!!! they should be greatful of being in there ¬¬

  • Thanks to all who actually understand the performances. Still had to check it out again to get my "fix" ! It makes a tough day at work easier! rock on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've lived in N.Y.C. & L.A., mad respect EVERYWHERE!!!! Mike is a mad scientist! Bands included...

  • saying this drummer sucks is exactly what you expect from an ignorant fuck

  • sssoooooooooooo in agree with you the drummer is awesome!

  • absolutley awesome!! MIKE PATTON rules!!

  • Saw em with Tool. I was real real high. In every way.

  • the only thing that sucks in this videos is the audience

  • awsome!

  • I'm not a drummer, but I like it. Does that make you haters sad? Sorry...

  • to all the retards that are saying that this drummer sucks...sorry, ultra retards,I just have to advise them to check out Battles and their stuf live...John Stanier is one of the most solid drummers in the world...and he doesn't show off....thats the great about him ,he keeps his groove really tight without goin over other instruments......

  • ha ha lucky texas

  • proove it,and if you are then thats not a good way of making fans

  • lol obviously

  • he has worked with battles tomahawk and helmet yes sur!

  • Rutmanis fucking rules.

  • love it

  • i can honestly say i have never heard anything like this... and love it =)

  • Holy shit.

  • the guitarist came from a noise/punk band. wtf do you expect? anyways, hes fucking awesome

  • Agreed. Duane is an excellent guitarist!

  • sum < parts

  • At around 2:45 he sounds exactly like Chris Cornell in Soundgarden, which is pretty impressive.

As good as this band is it's a shame that he has to stick around that contraption for his sounds, because it definitely keeps him from a lot of the movement which made him such a frontman for FNM.

    Good stuff though for sure.

  • impressive??? what shit are you smoking? chris cornell sucks

  • he does now, but not in soundgarden

  • Yeah I was definitely referring to his early Soundgarden days, not when he's sold out.

  • chris cornell's music of the last ten years does suck, but he's as technically gifted a singer as there is in rock

  • i dunno i like 'euphoria morning' and SOME of the audioslave stuff, though yeah the 2nd audioslave album and "carry on" were poo, steamy chunky poo

  • thanks for that mr. i know everything about music

  • he's just sharing his opinion.
