  • Has anyone tried this new SDK with duel kinects yet? I hope ipisoft finds a use for them.

Also I do feel you repeat yourself a bit too much when the website is always linked in your descriptions.

  • @ZeF2007inc finds a use for it*

  • real time, nice. but... pretty junky :D lots of mess there.

  • @octavianmihailescu I agree, I use iPisoft for more accurate results

  • That looks good. You're getting a decent framerate. I'm getting a pathetic 5 to 10 fps from the depth stream. Any ideas?

  • Wow. I need to get this. Makes mocap so much easier.

  • @CyberKineticFilms Actually No, This makes it harder because its not as accurate as high end mocap. For high quality animations visit Truebones

  • truebooones :D:D

  • You look excited :)

It tracks better then brekel kinect as far as I can see.

  • looks cool, I wish I could use this on linux, check my channel for humanoid robot teleoperation with kinect. this is based on OpenNI :)

  • @mpeniak Howdy, This is not OPEN NI, This is Kinect SDK. Just wanted you to make sure that thre is a difference. Thanks and Cheers

  • @truebones Sure, I just said the that the iCub humanoid robot teleoperation that I've implemented and which is shown on my channel is based on OpenNI rather than on KinectSDK.

  • @mpeniak Thanks for clarifying. Please feel free to post your video as a response.

  • @mpeniak Linux would be nice, yeah. I am using OpenNI, too. Problem is that I always have to do a pose for calibration. Did you get around this? The skeleton recognition looks much better with the SDK. Your robot looks amazing though

  • hey truebones what type of camera are you using? is it still kinect?

  • @kicbocsir Im still using just the one kinect camera, ALthough I heard this viewer scans with 2 kinects and 2 people as well.

  • Man these new developments are so impressive!

  • @GisoSpijkerman Thanks Giso, Cheers
