Im a beginner wanting to learn scales now to improve my guitar and although i do not listen to blues, you inspire me to learn the blues scales ... thank you very much.
One day when im older i shall buy a gibson les paul too :D
hey greg can you give me som informations about the kloppmann pickups? i have also an 58 reissue from the custom shop and i maybe gona chance the pickups to kloppmanns whitout covers. is it realy an upgrade to the basic sound? outbut is the same? more mids higs? im looking for a pickup like a PAF but whitout covers and maybe a bit more punch.
hello Greg, first of all i want to say to you that I love how you play guitar, you're great! I'm writing you because I need your help... i want to buy the same guitar that you're playing in this video and i want to ask to you how do you find the frets because i know that these aren't the jumbo frets of the R9. My second question is about the colour. Is that Iced Tea or maybe Bourbon Burst? Thank toy so much and greetings from Italy!
@zamp82 Gibson produces three finishes for the 58 reissue. Namely; Iced Tea, Faded Tobacco, Faded Cherry Sunburst. This particular one looks to me as the iced tea finish. I have the same guitar in faded tobacco and I'm pretty sure the frets are what Gibson considers to be "jumbo". In any case they're pretty big on my guitar, bigger than the standard frets you'll find on les paul studio or a fender vintage model.
seriously.... you're amazing Greg.... this Greenish sound is astonishing... it's one of the best imrpov i've ever heard. Please never remove this video 'cos i can't stop watching it since the day you've posted it. I would like to write that you've got perfect articulation, perfect feeling, but... I'm not the one who can judge - you're the master!
It's my job: making music (I play with my on group and play with other artists, I made 12 CDs, do concerts, plus selling guitars. (these guitars are mine, I buy and sell)
where do you get your backing tracks man?
