I recently listened to (& posted) 11-6-77 (Grateful Dead, of course) & it had such a rippin' Samson. Bobby smoked the crap out of it & Jerry... well, he's Jerry! Springsteen doin' this? I LOVE Springsteen maybe 2nd best to the Dead & I gotta say: ain't no way this Bruce (versus the other Bruuuuuce... Hornsby) does it as good as the Good Ol' Grateful Dead. But ya know what, wow, this is soooo cool. Maybe it's not even fair to compare the 2 since they're so different. In any case, 3 thumbs up!!

The concept here is fantastic. Bruce doesn't phrase it like Bob who doesn't phrase it like the Rev. who wrote it. Appreciate it for what it is.
