@MJJJusticeProject I saw it on a blog but being a graphic designer myself, it would be easy to create posters especially when a rumor is being supported. I noticed the only thing coming up is the media reporting that the fans are outraged but this may be a rumor. I need proof on Discovery Channel UK site or any other hard evidence like promos, commercials etc.

All media must be taken with a grain of salt, the validity of each article depends on the integrity of the author and their sources, not just the site. We have also talked to a well-known Dr. who has stated that only a charlatan would perform such a realistic and demeaning re-enactment of MJ's autopsy. We guess that we will have to agree to disagree with you on the "wait and see what Discovery will do" approach.

@MJJJusticeProject Why wouldnt they bother? Most networks were bias but not all of them. They bothered with Aphrodite Jones- the discovery network. Her documentary was totally Pro-Michael. I recall that most shows are done for the ratings-- so what do you mean by its done for ratings? I keep hearing the same words repeated over and over on every blog and topic but no proof of anything. I can not sign this until I know all the facts. I dont even know if the documentary actually exists.

@MJJJusticeProject I apologize if I seemed argumentative in my last post. I’m not trying to force my ideas on others. Yet, I still have to ask the question: If you found out that the documentary was not what you assumed it would be and would actually vindicate Michael and make Murray look worse, would you be as passionate in your mission?
@Kingsherry You do not sound argumentative at all and we always appreciate having healthy discussion. Personally, even if the program vindicated Michael we would still hold that the program is unnecessarily graphic. Also, since Dr. Murray's trial is still pending his defense could claim that the jury pool is tainted by it, and he cannot get a fair trial. Remember, Michael was totally vindicated at 2005 trial but you would never have known it by the the way the press handled the aftermath.
A huge lie the media promotes is that Michael was an unhealthy drug addict. Usually programs associated with Discovery are professional & educational. The media has already graphically twisted and distorted the autopsy findings as well as Michael’s condition. I don’t feel that one show will make the defense raise an issue, especially with everything else that has come out, it's up to the jury to decide. If it was up to the media, Michael would've been convicted in 2005.
@Kingsherry First it was only the tabloids but it wasn't long before mainstream media got lazy and started to copy paste their articles without fact checking ergo the reporting on the 05 MJ trial. Sad to say, Discovery has been losing their credibility and their ratings for some time, according to articles in Huffington Post and others. We don't have any reason to believe that they will give MJ any kind of a fair shake in this documentary, just more of the same character assassination.
The main stream media themselves became a tabloid in Michael’s case and in his autopsy. Some actually had the facts but still twisted and under minded the significance. Information about Michael on Huffington Post shows theres no merit & this site is tabloid too. The DC channel is very successful & based on their history, including the documentary where Aphrodite Jones was allowed to go completely against the media, I have no reason to believe this will be another character-assassination.

There are several issues regarding privacy, and with the trial, and just think about this: would you like to see your loved one on a recreated autopsy show for all to see? Showing this all over the world does not allow a fair trial because it details the views by 2 pros who wont be at the trial. And it will be global-its a global premier slated to show 4 days, not one show.

And this documentary is going to be aired to MILLIONS where it will also be in the internet. US citizens will see this BEFORE Murray's trial. That denies him a FAIR trial because the US will have access to view the perceptions in the documentary pre-trial. MJ's Estate is looking into it because they were not aware. I may sound like I'm contradicting myself but I too am a beLIEver. The reason I am so against this is that it is so disrespectful and this should happen to noones loved one. @MJJJusticeProject I saw it on a blog but being a graphic designer myself, it would be easy to create posters especially when a rumor is being supported. I noticed the only thing coming up is the media reporting that the fans are outraged but this may be a rumor. I need proof on Discovery Channel UK site or any other hard evidence like promos, commercials etc.

All media must be taken with a grain of salt, the validity of each article depends on the integrity of the author and their sources, not just the site. We have also talked to a well-known Dr. who has stated that only a charlatan would perform such a realistic and demeaning re-enactment of MJ's autopsy. We guess that we will have to agree to disagree with you on the "wait and see what Discovery will do" approach.

If they wish to discuss that the findings show he wasn't a drug addict and in good health they wouldn't need to have a synthetic anatomically correct cadaver to slice and dice. @MJJJusticeProject Why wouldnt they bother? Most networks were bias but not all of them. They bothered with Aphrodite Jones- the discovery network. Her documentary was totally Pro-Michael. I recall that most shows are done for the ratings-- so what do you mean by its done for ratings? I keep hearing the same words repeated over and over on every blog and topic but no proof of anything. I can not sign this until I know all the facts. I dont even know if the documentary actually exists.

@Kingsherry You do not sound argumentative at all and we always appreciate having healthy discussion. Personally, even if the program vindicated Michael we would still hold that the program is unnecessarily graphic. Also, since Dr. Murray's trial is still pending his defense could claim that the jury pool is tainted by it, and he cannot get a fair trial. Remember, Michael was totally vindicated at 2005 trial but you would never have known it by the the way the press handled the aftermath.

A huge lie the media promotes is that Michael was an unhealthy drug addict. Usually programs associated with Discovery are professional & educational. The media has already graphically twisted and distorted the autopsy findings as well as Michael’s condition. I don’t feel that one show will make the defense raise an issue, especially with everything else that has come out, it's up to the jury to decide. If it was up to the media, Michael would've been convicted in 2005.

@Kingsherry First it was only the tabloids but it wasn't long before mainstream media got lazy and started to copy paste their articles without fact checking ergo the reporting on the 05 MJ trial. Sad to say, Discovery has been losing their credibility and their ratings for some time, according to articles in Huffington Post and others. We don't have any reason to believe that they will give MJ any kind of a fair shake in this documentary, just more of the same character assassination.

The main stream media themselves became a tabloid in Michael’s case and in his autopsy. Some actually had the facts but still twisted and under minded the significance. Information about Michael on Huffington Post shows theres no merit & this site is tabloid too. The DC channel is very successful & based on their history, including the documentary where Aphrodite Jones was allowed to go completely against the media, I have no reason to believe this will be another character-assassination.

David Zaslav is behind it. He has control over it and O has nothing to do with it. O hasn't done anything for MJ with her own programming so I don't imagine she'll say anything about anyone else choice of programming. O is irrelevant to what Discovery plans on airing about MJ.

I simply left a comment on the video, not to you, giving information about who (David Zaslav) is actually behind the MJ program, he has control over it airing and what Zaslav's address is. I don't know WHY you keep sending me comments about things I haven't even said or am interested in (like you talking about Oprah especially since she has NOTHING to do with the program). Shame to O, shame to Discovery, shame to the Ca courts if they don't try to stop this through diplomatic channels for the cause of it may tamper with the minds of potential jurors, shame to the UK if they let it air, shame to the estate lawyers if they don't make moves to prevent it...shame to the advertisers who will take advantage to hawk their merchandise during this program.....shame to all of them. Absolutely! All shout at the same time...every group come together in a common message of outrage now! I see some are asking WHY this is such a big deal?! At its minumum, it is montrous voyeurism for attention and profit! This is a human being! They are taking 'personifying a technological corpe', that of a beloved person, and disecting it! This isn't an annoymous foray into pathology for scientific or educational purposes! It is Yellow Journalism Sensationalism using New Technology ....

@LongCreek1961 ...and disgusting sick curiosity! You know why we have trials? Because the autopsy only tells PART of the story about how and why a person dies. The otther Half of the story is testimony. By taking only Half the story, the autopsy report and using it for dramatization...they are not telling the whole story and therefore they have no justification for doing this program in the first place. It will not INFORM fully in any way! It will only be a mess of avid sickness.....

@LongCreek1961 ..for viewership. And the TIMING tells us this is to boost ratings as well. This can't wait until ALL the information is known from the autopsy AND the trial? IF it was anything other than just a bunch of sensationalistic garbage, if it was meant to fully inform...they should wait until they KNOW everything!...IF even then! All I can say is ....shout shout shout! Whatever group you may belong to...if you love MJ, shout! Tell California courts to get busy and do something too!

There are several issues regarding privacy, and with the trial, and just think about this: would you like to see your loved one on a recreated autopsy show for all to see? Showing this all over the world does not allow a fair trial because it details the views by 2 pros who wont be at the trial. And it will be global-its a global premier slated to show 4 days, not one show.

@wayla711MJ829 oh my, this is why we need to speak up. We're sending letters to Discovery UK (all higher ups) and so there is more than a petition. And this documentary is going to be aired to MILLIONS where it will also be in the internet. US citizens will see this BEFORE Murray's trial. That denies him a FAIR trial because the US will have access to view the perceptions in the documentary pre-trial. MJ's Estate is looking into it because they were not aware. Don't think we cant be heard! ;)

Viewers, we need more letters to be written. Please send your letter to mjj @ innocent.com (no spaces) You can send your email to Discovery, but please send us a copy so we can include it in our mass mailing. Mass mails have more impact than individual letters. Many who have sent theirs in to Discovery got a standardized letter and a brush off. ;)

I am so heart sick at the thought of MJ's children having to live through this, even knowing that it's on the table must tear them to pieces. The petitions are fine, but really I believe you should focus your emails, letters and phone calls to the Discovery Channel itself. Most of all, Michael Jackson fans should strongly protest Oprah Winfrey. She is really the one behind this special. :(
