  • ive had a lot of fave bands....kamelot killed them all

  • Isn't it great to hear music that is actually worked through, in everything from lyrics to the smallest drumfill....Amazing, and hope for new stuff to sound as mindblowing without the voice of Khan.

  • i feel like those girls watching elvis or the beatles sometimes listening to kamelot, so rich so pure, so so...real

  • oh, i´m sorry.... 100000000000000000000/10

  • Necropolis..... no words, 10/10

  • This song has the most amazing/catchy guitar work. I love the tempo of this song. It gives it that Egyptian feel. I agree that this song is one of the best on PFTP. Roy Kahn will be missed. It's going to be hard for Kamelot to find someone of Roy's caliber. I'm just glad that he did a lot of epic cd's with Kamelot.

  • @kingofhell1972 excellent comment!!! I so agree with you :)

  • This song has the most amazing catchy guitar work. I love the tempo of this song. It gives it that Egyptian feel. and I agree that this song is one of the best on PFTP.

  • @kingofhell1972 Funny I was just reading up on the city of Alexandria whilst listening to this song.

  • 240p we meet again

  • I Love Kamelot!!

  • This song should be in the next Chronicles of Riddick movie...

  • Good song and appreciate the vid, but as some constructive criticism, the text doesn't contrast well with the background at times and can be difficult to read. Other than that, great upload.

  • death will come to those who hate this band and the fires of hell will rain upon there souls!!!!!!! MWHAHAHAHAHA! There tears will bring me peace!

  • of adventure. Now that khan is gone, I can see that diminishing very quickly.

  • Youll notice that the epica and black halo album had alot to do with god because it was actually 2 albums but one concept piece, about a man (ariel) in his pursuit of faithfulness, running into obstacles that test his faithfulness. It all began with a fallen angel mephisto and god putting a bet on. If mephisto could win ariels soul he could come back to heaven, if not he would spend eternity in hell. Kamelot were and amazing band, khan had the voice and the music always gave you that feeling...

  • @Guyraz100 Yeah... it's called FAUST. I swear, the uneducated annoy me.

  • BEST ALBUM WOW!!

  • I suspect that Khan was not the one writing the songs, seems to me from what you guys are sayin he was pressured into singing them by his group. It is a probable scenario, would you not agree?

  • @drakomuendo Most of their songs are written by Roy Khan and their guitarist, Thomas Youngblood, so I don't think you can say that he was forced to sing them.

  • @Psych02204 never said he was forced too just said he may not have written the particular song, I don't know all that much about the group but you just confirmed the probability of accuracy by what you just said. here is the sum of my previouse message. he may have sang it but that doesn't mean he was the one who wrote it.

  • @drakomuendo You should make it a little clearer though, and saying that "He was pressured into singing them" makes you seem like you're insinuating that he was forced into singing them, but I get the idea now. :)

  • @Psych02204 yeah I noticed it lacked proper clarity in wording

  • This song is about wars caused by religion, isn't it?

I like how it combines the different styles of the album. There's that more electronic part at the beginning (like in Pandemonium), the mighty chorus, soft bridge, then the film score break plus guitar solo... Just seems to sum it all up.

  • All the lyrics from PFTP are really interesting considering Khan has quit Kamelot and now seems to believe in god.

  • @Wesinhuman Didn't he already believe in God before he even thought of quiting Kamelot? Don't want to be pedantic, just thought he did.

  • @Worldbaser even if he already believed in god, it looks like he didn't have a good relationship with him. just look at the lyrics when he sang for conception and his lyrics in kamelot, or that line in TGP where he says: I spoke to God but he wasn't there and then the ending of his announcement where he says : the good news is god was there after all...

  • @IvanTsarina the song ''abandoned'' made me think of that as well... actually there are a lot songs with some points with God involved. But yeah the last sentence of his announcement showed like there's something brewing... I'm actually wondering if all the songs they made have a similarity to their real lives.

  • @Worldbaser Fuck's sake, you're all ignorant; Abandoned is sung from the point of a fictional character the album centers around.

  • @GuitarGuy057 yeah I'm aware of that =_= the story about ariel and his search for the truth and so on, I wasn't talking about that and thís song isn't on that album, I was only enumerating some songs :p

  • I love this song, but he font is a little... hard to read sometimes ^^;

  • hmmm. I dunno, the song is awesome , the chorus is awesome, but it doesnt tell a story like their old songs did. Now it's more like, trying to convey a mood. I think I liked the medieval epic style they had before more than the shift toward gothic metal and imagery.

It's still really good though, dont confuse me for a hater.

  • The intro sounds like something from the first ratchet and clank game. anybody else notice that?

  • 3:34 is the best part of this...the way he says "last" for some reason just gives me chills. This is the best song on the album.

  • Amazing song, but better quality would be nice. ;D

  • Kamelot is something more than metal, is something more than music...it is like jesus...our way to God...(by God i mean Roy Khan)

  • jee this song is amazing... it really takes you to the warfield. it almost feels like I can see corpses all over the place and agony... this is the power of kamelot's music. simply magic (although it's not my favourite song by Kamelot).

  • "Don't Wait Too Long Don't Harvest Too Late"

    like this XD

  • can you upload "my train of thoughts " ?

  • the intro is just ...wow

  • *creamed*

  • I love this song!!!

It made me check my Universal History notebooks hahahahaha!!! but it's ok because Kamelot and Universal History rules!!!

  • So much raw power and emotion behind this song, can't help but sing along as loud as I can (:

  • just found out about the new album on Pandora! Im pissed because

    I didnt find out eariler!

  • I think I saw on their facebook that this may be Kamelot's next music video. I dont remember exactly if it was this or Zodiac

  • I didn't even know their new album was out until just now! This song is great! Khan's voice is so good here!!

  • Nice work !!! Good vid!!!

  • My fav off PftP. It sounds like it's about World War 1. Particularly with "Every nation, thank you for putting down your arms (This was the war to end all wars, this was the war to save democracy!)"

  • @TheEarthforge 'this is the war to end all wars' is what was said about world war one during the war... of course we now know this isnt true, then he says 'this is the war to save democracy' which is what is said about the war in iraq, so it probably has more to do with that, every nation thanks you for putting down your arms, probably refers to a crazy guy with nukes, who just agreed to not arm the nukes, so yeah, modern war

  • @mynameisnyhm its something very weird because for me it reminds me more like Cold War because the song talks about West and East Side but if you check the part when it says "this was the war to end all wars" it's about the WWI because WWI was also named like this. But if you check the part when it say "the war to save democracy" its about WWII because lots of historian call it "The War To Make The World Safe For Democracy"

  • @mynameisnyhm but can also being talking about modern war (as you said)

and the part of "arms put down" could being talking about nuclear disarmament which started after the WWII.

I think this song in general is about the war and the harm that cause to the mankind

Sorry if I bore you but I was also confused because of this song :)

and I apologise if my english is not perfect but it's not my mother tongue

  • @lucymalak90 Your English is fine, I wouldn't have known if you hadn't told me. And it didn't bore me, ive seen far stupider youtube comments

  • When I have the money to...i am buying this album...this is a good song^__^ thanks for sharing...KAMELOT FTW\m/

  • I love Poetry for the Poisoned, it's almost better than The Black Halo :) One of my favourite songs on it too, would be Necropolis. I love the title too :D

  • is this whole cd like unavailable for download??

  • The best song for me! Kamelot for ever....

  • One of my favorites in PftP. The intro is amazing and Khan's voice is remarkable as always.

  • omg th new albums songs are so fantastic an epic hail kamelot !!greetz from germany ;)
