Guitarist left of screen is Clieve Littlewood - the other guitarist is his brother whose name escapes me, sorry. I met Clieve in the early eighties - partied for many years - a great bloke ... he now lives a quiet life in the mountains. Can I go now?
Leaves the Fifth Dimension version in the shade. Musically great band, the consonant scatting inimitible. They played at the opening of Sundale Shopping Centre I believe - jealous as hell when a school friend saw them without me (I had the mumps). He thought they were called Banana. Just love this song - wherever you are, Iguanas, thank you.
The rhythm guitarist is Cleve Littlewood. He moved to Brisbane and formed a band with me(drums) ,Tim Vowles(bass/organ) Mike Pack (vocals) forgot the bass player's name. The band was called Oracle, later called Boston High. Have lost touch with Cleve, if anyone knows his whereabouts put it on here,
For CGT867......... Lead vocals were done by Gary Sweetman, Gary Littlewood....lead guitar, Clive Littlewood....rhythm guitar, Graham Jones....bass and Peter Saunders on drums
Just loved this song when I was a kid! I thought they might be American, thanks for posting this. You have done a magnificent job! We are indebted to you for your stirling effort.
@Toner12 well done - had the 45rpm with Mary Go Round on the flip side. Sister in law lived round the corner from the drummer. Inherited some drumsticks from him thinking I would be the next Peter 'Porky' Saunders! Hmm, no good!
