@Shereeda2202 Sometimes you may get dizzy just because the energy is moving around and releasing. If that happens while you're tapping, sitting up really straight with both feet on the floor, and then either tapping your toes or your heels on the floor gets you grounded again. I've had clients do that during a session if they get dizzy, and it seems to work. Also, making sure you're drinking enough water during the tapping is a good idea. Hope that's helpful!!
@downstream347 ooo so this is normal? ..well kinda normal? nothing is wrong with me? ..i used to do Tai Chi and during the breathing exercises I suddenly get anxious and panicky ...so I stopped... seems like every time I try to relax my body ..it tenses up more... Do you know why this might be happening?
@Shereeda2202 I think the dizziness from time to time is normal. From what I've seen, it gets better over time when you've been tapping for awhile. The anxiety and panic may be about something else. My understanding is that breathing exercises in general can stir up old feelings and traumas. In stressful or traumatic situations, we often hold our breath, so when we do breathing exercises, it can bring some of those old feelings to the surface.
I have had severe panic attacks for 20 years untill I have discovered the books of a late Australian Doctor CLAIRE WEEKES which in fact saved my life.I read all her 5 books and PRACTICE everyday all her recommendation and i am now CURED.
Im kinda confused about this concept of therapy, so do u apply emotions to the phrases when u say it or do u simply jus tap and say them without much effort in thinking bout it?
What seems to work best is to focus on the feelings as you tap, although after tapping for a little while, many people find that they just feel calmer and continue to say the words. It will work either way, but it works best if you begin by focusing on the feeling as you tap. Hope that's helpful.
This video helped me a lot. It's a long time I didn't practice EFT, I stopped before cause didn't really works for me but when I watch your video, it works better. Now I'll practice it again on a daily basis to get more results. Thanks for sharing this video.
Thanks for doing these videos. They speak to my situation and help me feel better. I also like the fact that you take your time rather than speed through it like most of the other EFT videos I've tried. It's much easier to keep up and really absorb what you (and I) are saying.
Wow, I feel so much better and suddenly lighter. This really works. I will definately try this technique from now on. This is a breakthrough for me, although I practice yoga and deep breathing almost daily, it was not until today when I tried this tapping technique did I feel as profound a difference in my sense of lightness of being. I found your video just when I needed it most, thank you so much.
Sorry to hear that -- you may be able to find another EFT video on YouTube that helps, or you may need a more specific tapping round that speaks to your situation. Good luck and all the best to you!
Thanks so much. Youe say the words that were hidden from me -extremely helpful.
