This is a rather unknown version of Barry, it was recorded in Philly in 76.

Here Barry explores the High end of his register (The record company bosses weren't too keen ) and I think he pretty much gets away with it. He does struggle on the Bridge to the third chorus on the demo, played here, but Lenny Gamble smooths it out, with an overdub on the Album version.
