  • Wow. This is too good. Where can I find the original?

  • @afkhajiit Thank you for your comment. The original can be found on Fred McDowell's CD, Good Morning Little School Girl. Enjoy.

  • Thank you. This video was my first attempt using Windows Movie Maker. Please see this video for a later example, Poor Boy Vestapol Bukka White Cover Delta Blues Guitar

    Happy New Year! Enjoy.

  • Great job Keni, really enjoyed your work here!

  • Thank you. I'm glad you are enjoying it. Youtube is such a great place to express yourself and meet friends with similar interests. Enjoy.

  • Great!

  • Thank you.

  • Very artistic, Kenilee, on many levels. You are a true inspiration to the afficiando of slide playing

  • Thank you for the nice compliment and words of encouragement. I'm just beginning to find, music combined with video to be a very interesting way to express myself. Enjoy.

  • My main squeeze Keni. I see you are becoming a film maker. God bless and good luck. Nice music my friend.

  • Thank you George. I'm amazed at the potential of home recording. It took some time to figure out the Windows Movie Maker. I'm still learning how to keep things in sync. When I add transistion effects between clips it alters the timeline. I'll keep playing with it, and in time I'll understand. I now see why you find making movies so enjoyable. It is a great medium to work in. Enjoy.

  • My pleasure sir. I don't use windows movie maker but in final cut pro (Mac OSX) the audio isn't eaten up by the transitions. There may be a preference or a parameter you cans et so that the audio isn't affected by the transition.

  • Thanks for the tip. Enjoy.

  • Great video and song. The New Hope RR footage was especially cool.

    Joe

  • Thank you Joe. New Hope is a great place. I was hoping to get footage of the Steam engines, but they weren't running at the time. Fortunately, the station itself has an old time look.

  • Hey this is a very enjoyable video Keni-

    Thanks for doing it.

I enjoyed the music and the vid.

    5 *****'s

    Righteous.

    T.

  • Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it. It was a lot of fun to make. Well, actually a little confusing figuring out the software, but well worth the effort. Enjoy.

  • what software are you using?

  • wonderful....the video, the song, the singing

    just wonderful!

  • Thank you. Maybe I missed my calling. It is really fasinating the world of mixed media. Enjoy.

  • Wonderful, a real gem and promising for your future productions - looking forward to them!

  • Thank you. I need to learn more about using the Windows Movie Maker. Keeping everthing in sync is the tricky part. The transistion effects between clips change the time line. I only used one in the beginning. The circle effect. Using them in other places caused problems with the time. George's documentary should be edited soon. I'm looking forward to that. I wouldn't mind trying my hand at a little acting next. lol. Enjoy.

  • I like that very much. Images fit the music nicely and looks cool with the sepia tone.

  • Thank you. Ya, I like the imagery that the lyrics express. I tried to capture that feeling using the sepia tone and the old movie footage effect. I also used hard light on myself to produce shadows and create tension. Enjoy.

  • Cool and different.Good montage Keni Lee,i can hear this if the music had professionally production.Think your on the right road here.Any word on your documentary and hows your seminars working out.All the best

  • Thank you. Ya, studio recording would certainly bring it up another level. I am just enjoying the fact that it can all be produced using home equipment. It was a lot of fun to make. George is editing the documentary, and it should be done soon. He has some nice equipment, and unlike me, he knows what he is doing. The Bottleneck Seminar that will be held Nov. 2, 2008 is not getting the response I hoped for, but it will be a good time regardless of the attendance. Thanks for watching. Enjoy.

  • Cool.

  • KL,

That was just great. The video work was terrific. The playing wasn't bad either! Keep it coming.

  • Thank you. This was my first production. I wanted to experiment with Windows Movie Maker, and see if I could figure out how to use it. With the right song, and some good old imagination, who knows what is next. Enjoy.

  • Very nice. :)

  • Thank you.

  • bluescollarband is soo right !!! That´s really cool...

  • Thank you. I wanted to try and capture some of the intensity and darkness found in the lyrics. Enjoy.

  • Well done Keni . Great video and camera work.

  • Thank you. My friend Mike shot the video. Technology is really amazing. This is my first attempt at video editing. Enjoy.

  • Nicely done!

  • Thank you. I've been wanting to try the Windows Movie Maker. The footage was shot here locally. Enjoy.
