  • yup, this is a good one. Maybe a wee tiny bit too pessimistic, but this is good.

There is a bit of truth to the idea that Pesado and other aficionados are killing music by collectively keeping pop within a banal, commercialized, radio-commercial-friendly garbage heap.

Thanks to the internet, I don't have to listen to all the "up to par" crap that popular radio stations use to sell oil changes to me.

  • haha what mic u usin on that flatulence son?

  • Awesome episode!

  • Just a thought on the cut vs boost eq thing. There is a fundamental frequency chart over at

    psbspeakers d o t com/articles/The-Frequencies-of-Music

I think it's good to know where they are.

  • Amazing ;)

  • Oh man professional fart sampling. I laughed like a hyena! And like always thank you for the priceless knowledge.

  • I got the SSL for CLA presets, they are so much a part of what I do.I always use them on drums, gtrs, some bass....

  • nice sweater dave!

  • Rip the audio from this tune at tubepull doht cohm.

  • Fart jokes ??

  • wut up i got a new bieber exclusive cliip i have on my profile

  • 1:00:40 Ed hit the nail on the head about today's music not being around in a year like Led Zep, etc!!! I call today's songs "disposable music" for that very reason. I thought you had secretly recorded a conversation I had with a co-writer just this past weekend. I've also been saying this for years. Great to hear others feel that way as well. Keep up the great work on the show, we all love it here in Fort Myers, FL!!!

  • one more, Pete Cornish's website taught me everything I needed to know about phase. This guy is my hero and through my guitar gear fanaticism he spawned my engineering career.

  • Slate's fart expansion pack was brutally hilarious! thank you!

  • awesome! I love how he sends the dumbass a&r and bands a retarded loud version and the pro mastering guys the right one. Fuck "musicians" who aren't informed about what a mix should sound like before mastering!

  • can you please talk about samples and please do the spanish show , thanks I love your show............god bless

  • Preparation H plugin - - good one!

  • This show was THE BEST of them all, and it is becoming better and better every day! Oh man! Ed Cherney is one of the best and I admire him so much! It's a joy to see him speaking, we can learn so much only with his words, wisdom and sincerity! He's a true example of what a true artist should be! Keep doing this show Dave, you've been contributing so much, I'm becoming better and better with your initiative. Thank you! Artur - Portugal

  • Thanks again, Pensado and friends!

  • Thanks Dave and co, what a great show, haven't missed an episode yet/

my mixes get better by the week because of ITL and other tips from you & your guests.

Would be great if ITL wa a lot longer and take up most of the show? hearin examples of different techniques in practice is so valuable.

Keep up and the good work and thanks.

  • great show guys, very informative, thnx

  • Top!

  • Love the show!!! Has has taken our productions to a whole new level. Would love to see the show in HD especially ITL, would be awesome to see the screen much clearer!

  • Thank you again Dave Pensado & staff! Great episode.

  • Such a great show!

keep up the good job you guys

    from Israel

  • 720p HD PLEASE. thx.

  • I have to say Ed Cherney did say some very valid things in relation to the loudness wars. I go through the exact same thing and before mastering when I have to send mixes to record labels/bands I definitely have to make them loud and I mean Loud! because people get fooled with louder being better, but the regular version is definitely sent to mastering, but for showcase you feel obligated to send a mix that competes with an already mastered CD because that's what executives want to hear

  • The episodes keep getting better and better, great job!

  • Wow lots of good info thanks guys...

  • I really LOVED this episode of Pensado's Place!!!

There was so much valuable information imparted by Dave and Ed Cherney...WOW

"Thanks Again" Dave, Herb, Zan, Will and Drew.

    It is truly appreciated
