@tmanrad1 you have to take the trans apart, and remove the crankshaft. You then cut the end of the crankshaft that has the gear that engages the clutch off. Get that stub welded onto a straight shaft with a sprocket on the other end.

@beanssissy1235z Yeah you can, you fabricate a piece of thin sheet metal drill a hole in it and bolt it on the outside of the connecting rod. spin it to make sure it clears everything but will still throw oil around. put the oil pan back on. Thats the main reason a horizontal vertical engine dont last. The stock oil slinger cant reach the oil so you got to make a new one. Now flip the gas tank and carb and fabricate some more brackets to hold them up and you got a horizontal vertical engine.

nice idea and everything since its made from scratch but if your planning on getting anywhere with that raise it up , put some bigger tires on it i suggest ultra wide super swampers, there old school wheels if you can even find them but they are the shit. and get rid of that one shock in the back you need 2 in the back unless you like ridding hard like that
