  • Holy fuckin shit guys! This is russian language! I'm russian and i am scared to fuckin death now, coz recently some unknown number called me and i heard russian numbers "1460033"

  • 8.3.1.

  • how do u kno it's a number station

  • whats the meaning of this stuff about?! whats it for?!

  • @gamerdude448 Number stations are used by governments to send information to a spy or placed asset in a different country. They are only one-way transmissions, and are used with a codex called a one-time pad, which is a single use cipher that contains a set of instructions.

Russia, England, Germany, Israel, Cuba, China, the USA and a few other countries use these stations to send information, but usually its null information.

  • The language is Russian.

  • @1970Dez I would have thought that too. Has anyone heard any numbers stations lately? I haven't but then and again I haven't had a chance much for short-wave with moving and being sick, and just now have gotten to enjoy some skip on VHF/UHF from my new apartment! I was thinking it is hard to believe that it is almost 30 years from the time I heard my first numbers station in the fall of 1982 when just in kindergarten!

  • this Russian language..

  • I'm also having rouble identifying the numbers or even the language. How long ago did you cath this on? I've just heard English and Spanish, but nothing like this.

  • Hi manyvideoinerests !! This is my favourite number station, and it's a bit difficult when you hear it the first time ,to identify the numbers. This catch is from 1 year ago,and it transmitts everyday, monday to friday.Greetings.

  • Where are you located and what time does it usually come on? I'm in Western New York.

  • @manyvideoinerests Judging by the freq, I would say it is prob'ly during the day.

  • I'm having trouble ID'ing the numbers. If it is S6 and is Russian, it could be 'vosyem dvo adin' (821) although 'dvo' is usually pronounced 'dva'. But good catch anyway :-)
