Great LP and band. I still own a couple 1st pressings on Fantasy...one was sealed 'till I opened it up awhile back. I've used this vinyl LP as imagery within my Parish Hall upload, which I've added here as a video response...hope you don't mind :)
I am working for a contractor who is doing upgrades on the house of a man named John Haden who said he was a member of this group and why I'm posting here now. Sounds good so far.
I've uploaded a great cover of this song by Tectonic Break, but utube doesn't allow links in the posts so you'll just have to search for it yourself :)
Very mature sound... Fabulous sound... Many bands "trying" to be heavy (and credible) failed during this period... Only a handful managed to sound competent and sophisticated... Parish Hall were one of them... An awful lot of outfits in '69 tended to sound like boys trying to be men...
wow this is really good

Anyone know the chords/tabs to this amazing song... I've been trying to do it by ear with minimal success!

I am so happy to discover this. Sounds a bit like Randy Holden from Blue Cheer. In other words...awesome.

Definately their best song. Such an obscure Psych band that really did some unique things.......shame they never had much of a chance to develop.

70s classic that i was only aware of after the brilliant cover version by Tectonic Break on the Sucking the 70's album

That's f...ng awsome piece of music! THERE IS SO MUCH OF GOOD STUFF FROM THE 1969/1971 PERIOD STILL WAITING TO BE REDISCOVERED...

One of the most brilliant and unknown one-album bands, with incredible Gary Wagner.
