@TheSingingLocksmith This man is amazing, he has some really amazing thoughts and musings up in his big head, he doesn't seem to talk about them much, but he says enough for me to know we think alike. I wish he would take better care of himself though, but then again i wish i would too. he's done it all quite literally.
I like this song because it is musically wonderful. I put it on a juke box one afternoon in an Edinburgh pub in Scotland and the bar man and his friend, I'm sure, thought I was gay but I just liked the song and so.....I played it and fuck what anyone thought. Great song.
if you watched the original video clip you know it's not homophobic. btw the video shows boys dancing with boys and girls dancing with girls. how can this be homophobic? well i love the song anyways.
i'm a straight male who embraces his feminine side, and to me, this song makes perfect sense, because sometimes i feel gay even though i'm attracted to women, which may not make sense to a lot of people but it makes sense to me. but this song is totally not homophobic at all.
@pelicanmouse it saddens me as human being that you even have to explain this to people :( Like this guy grayson311 finding your phrasing, implying something he knows nothing about, it's always just been a song to me, I've always admired your ability to put yourself in someone else's shoes.
No it's anti-homophobic, and supercool. The song is just awsome, whether you are gay or straight. "Please don't break my big gay heart". The album version is better though, I agree with annodam
@jjpayat is it ? That's odd . It was done by Tamara Davis. that would be weird if it was removed ...Rock Videos are mainly pointless I reckn - but can be fun

i think he's saying it sarcastically, like he cares about this person and they don't give a shit, they think he's being 'gay', not a homosexual, in the other sense. just a negative way
When a group are disproportionatley involved in the spread of a lethal disease (AIDS) then it isn't ''phobic'' to fear them. It's actually rational....especially when that group lied through their teeth for years about the pivotal role they played in the spread of the disease.
It was a gay and IV drug users disease which the gays brought back from African sex trourism and then spread amongst junkies who would do anything for money. Insults like ''homophobe'' are just too easy.
@cleverfeller it is very clear to everyone but yourself that you are a HUGE classic closet case. Get a boy friend and you'll feel a lot better about yourself and the world.
Evan Dando could write a song called Big Gay Heart without anybody questioning his sexuality.
That's how he rolled in the 90's

in old times gay means happy. You can see lyrics like that in Gilbert O'sullivan's songs.
