  • apparently i need to breathe in breathe out...hm didnt know that

  • Ok vid, TERRIBLE overplayed song by bush. How about the sound of engines?

  • I need a track to practice labs and stuff. I have a CBR 600. I live in NewYork.

  • Good vid. Dont forget the frame , axle and fork sliders! Get out on the track, its the most fun you and your bike can have!

  • at 1:46 ....."for that next big grunge band ya know?" hahaha wtf

  • @clutchisback1 Your an idiot dragging knees is a form of measuring your lean angle, The less lean angle you have the faster you can go around corners. Dragging a knee isn't hard and you sure as hell can have bad body position while dragging a knee.

  • what mod was that?

  • the song is T H E S H I T right there ...dayum...

  • And remember, if you DO fall on the track, there is no blue haired old lady there running you over with her Buick.

  • This video reminds me of Prestige Worldwide

  • the only reason i haven't went to the local track to try it out is because i can't get the knee down, I'm sorry but I'm just too chickenshit. anyways, is this a prerequisite?

  • @marshie1337 getting the kneedown just shows how much control you have over your bike...if you cant get your kneedown i would say youre not ready for the track...you may just get in the way....getting your kneedown isnt really hard...you just have to do it once...once you do it the first time...youll be able to do it whenever you want...

  • @marshie1337 don't worry about that. you shouldn't be trying it on a street anyway.

most streets are designed such you will have to do high rates of speed to touch a knee down.

go to the track and learn how to do it in a controlled environment. no one will laugh at you.

no one will care. and I bet before the end of the day, you'll be putting them on the ground without thinking about it.

  • @marshie1337 there is no prerequisite, your first time out you go into the novice group no passing unless its on the straight and other rules like that. ignore clutchisback1 saying you will get in the way if you cant get your knee down that is just plain wrong.

  • Don't want broken pieces on the track. Hazardous to other riders when you go down.

  • why did they put some tape on the headlights and tail lights??

  • track rules i believe because of distractions.

  • Lights and mirrors are taped/covered/removed to they wont shatter and leave pieces on the track if you crash.

  • that sand monkey has a weird smirk on his face, he probably just mugged somebody

  • lol, what do you expect? Filming even amature video costs money, I spent $500 just to do very basic tech videos for my website. I could have easily spent $2,000 for a low end professional camera that they probably filmed this with and that doesn't inlucude a microphone, editing software, royalty fees for music, etc...

As for the lights, they don't want broken glass all over the track when someone wipes out, the tape keeps most of it contained.

  • are you nuts? my 200$ cannon powershot shoots better film than this and it not even a video camera...

  • lol, I guess some people aren't intelligent enough to understand that video must be downgraded to put it on youtube, 7 minute long tech video I made for my website at 720x480 resolution was 2 GB, at 1080p the file size could easily be 5GB+...This commercial was probably made for something else and thrown up on youtube as an afterthought, it took me a few days to figure out what settings to use when rendering specifically for youtube so it didn't look like crap after it was uploaded.

  • Four and a half minute infomercial for the DVD is all you've got here.

  • taping over your brake light? That seems sensible.....

  • ummm yeah. Anything that covers a light it that kind of plastic gets covered in tape. No need for a break light, you dont see them in Moto GP or any other racing

  • Amateur track days are like Moto GP? Ok... It just seems to me with lots of bikes bunching up at corners and many people who probably don't have racing biker reactions, it would be a sensible precaution to keep the lights visible.

  • Reason is, if you wreck and you light plastics break, there might be that one small little piece that they might miss picking up the wreck. Someone runs over it and gets a flat railing at 80pmh makes for a nasty wreck. The tape will keep it all together if you wreck and the plastic comes off the bike

  • why do they tape their lights??

  • @EricPc47

so glass and plastic don't go all over the track if they were to break, keep it free from debris. Same reason they drill the oil plug screw and wire it, so vibration doesn't make it come loose and leak on track. Basically you prep your bike for battle to survive the hardcore riding.

  • oh that makes sense now. thanks a lot sir

  • I rode my 1st trackday last year after 12years of street riding. Most fun I've ever had on a bike!!! Riding on the street now has become boring. I've got a half dozen days booked so far with plans to do more! Great video

  • after two days at a track, I only ride the track now.

  • guys chill out. This is just a teaser for the DVD that you buy, not the actual how-to part.

  • Where can we get it????

  • where the hell were the tips? wtf is this?

  • that looks like jennings gp

  • you could have picked a better song. These dicks blow ass!!!!!

  • what song is this?

  • machine head by bush

  • what song is this?

  • This video sucks. Just a video of track day. No "How to" anything.

  • @GixxerNinja I disagree..the song said how to breathe.. "breathe in breathe out"...LOL !!!

  • actually u tape BOTH headlights and it's so if there's a wreck, it limits the amount debris on the track. u tape all your lenses that can shatter like turn signals, guages, tailights, and obv headlights.

  • im gonna ride the street one more year then sell all my mint street parts and bodywork and take up track but keep it still streetable.

  • Because only the one is on unless you turn the high-beams on.

  • why do you tape one side of the headlight ???

  • actually u tape BOTH headlights and it's so if there's a wreck, it limits the amount debris on the track. u tape all your lenses that can shatter like turn signals, guages, tailights, and obv headlights.

  • i know that is the reason behind it. but i question myself, why dont they just take the whole lighting fixture out, that way there is nothing to brake and you wouldnt have to worry about buying new shit.

  • this is a track in north florida, I was just there about a month ago,and its true, once you've been on a track, then back on the street, you'll be longing for the next track day. Try it, finding decent gear is a bit stressing, but once you used it for the track, it'll all be worth it.

  • i would LOVE to be able to afford a trackday.

    maybe in a few years

  • these bikes have nothing on my baja sc 50.

  • or my honda cg125. when going downhill with enough wind behind me, it can do 0-60 in 54seconds easy.

  • Indeed... ★★★★★

    Katalyzt

  • in case of an accedent they wont have glass all over the track

  • Stunaz

  • Damn Right looks like Jennings

  • Took me 1 day to fall in love with track racing. Shows you what your bike and you can do. Track is the best place to ride a sport bike!

  • I wanna start doin track but never been on one, is it hard, do I have to go to school for it, do I need a special license?

  • In finland, you dont need any license, just get a ticket for a trackday and join slow group, to get used to a track and lap after lap you'll get faster and faster, however once you start dragging your knee on each corner you might want to move to a quicker group, because speed difference will be too great. Anyway you'll love it, really the best place to ride a sportbike!

  • thank a lot brother, I've heard nothing but good comments on track riding, actually I've heard that once you start track, street riding seems boring.

  • so you can't see when I am breaking and have no point of referment

  • lol?

  • why do they hide the lights???

  • The tape is on the head lights to keep them intact and not shatter id you were to crash

  • woow thats scary but so cool

    thanx man

  • what iz the name of the song!!

  • Bush, Machine head
