This is just personal preference but i still think the S is the better machine. It is the perfect size great stability. I just look at the new xp's and i cant help to think if i was going to spend 17k on a machine of that size i mind as well buy a 25k dune buggy with 700 horses...
@j58bear There are actually two clutches on there buddy. Most all utvs, atvs, and snowmobiles have a cvt transmission, as opposed to the normal automatic transmission you see in a passenger car. Fine tuning the clutches optimizes the acceleration, top speed and holeshot of the machine. Google cvt transmissions and centrifugal clutches, you might learn something.
@j58bear Yes the are automatic,,dude if you don't no anything about Polaris's..you should do some research..When you modify a polaris you have to do clutch work..stronger springs,,heavy weights..sometimes a different belt..So that's wtf i'm talking about.BOY!
finally someone gives a descent vid comparing them. I have a turbo rzr s and now im thinking of selling it to get the xp because i like the way that they handle jumps with the trailing arms even though i have elka on mine. thx
Dude the new artic cat or " wildcat" iz going to kill the rzr xp it's lighter wider bigger shocks and it's more than a 1000 2012 it's gonna come out so yeah watch out Polaris
@Trx450rallday It will be interesting to see what's new for 2012 in the Polaris lineup as well, because there hasn't been one year yet that wasn't better than the previous year..so I'm sure they have something up their sleeves for 2012...either way the XP is a badass little machine.
@Trx450rallday Do you think polaris will being sitting on there hands..Polaris wont let arctic cat build anything better than them.Polaris is more dependable than arctic cat...Dont get me wrong I love arctic cat also..I love american products.
@Trx450rallday actually its only a 1000. not to mention it looks like its only setup for dunes and baja style racing ..... the rzr can baja ( and win) and be setup for mudding and other things at that
