it's great to watch this and see how far tech has advanced. i once spent 13 hours splicing together a dance mix on open reel (red grease marker anyone?). and think about how easy it is to do it with software today.
I'm going to disagree & agree with you, cause basically you're saying that all music is now no-talent needed. If that's the case, then all musicians should get a job at Home Depot. There is an over-flow of no-talented people making music from loops, but there's the other side like VSF that created magic from the soul
the crazy thing about this vids back then that was all cutting edge technology and a brand new fresh sound, but now anyone can create a similar sounding track without any musical experience, if that makes sense
