You know, there's hundreds of great guitarists out there! Hendrix, Zappa, Gilmore, Lifeson, Beck, etc. But there's a lot of guitarists who will never see fame. Makes you think, maybe there was or is someone better than Hendrix who hasn't or isn't getting attention?!

So many guitarists who cover Hendrix seem to try playing blisteringly fast for the fills. Hendrix isn't about speed, his playing is both timing and soul and this man has got it both!

I think this is as near as anyone can get to emulating Hendrix' excellence :) Bravo!

The Switch from Jimi to Frank's MUFFIN MAN was nice.

In the first year I picked up guitar, 1969, I formed a power trio that played nothing but Hendrix, Cream, and Neil Young (bass player was a big Neil fan). I was terrible, the drummer was terrible, the bass player was a rich kid who had lessons at an early age and he was quite professional. We rehearsed a few times and did no gigs. It was fun. I'm a better guitar player now. These guys are great.

I completely agree with zapalives and I think you're really good: combining Hendrix & Zappa is daring and not just any band can do that. Chapeau! The only flaw - in my opinion - is that you try to sing like Hendrix as well. Just use your own voice: in blues it can't be bad :)

I wasn't expecting this jem out of the basement. I used to listen to the muffin man every day before I went to school. I saw Frank in 77 from about 4 to 5 feet away in a small venue, it was insane. This video has the hard felt grit that makes this type of rock fun.
