    Remote access is normally off.

  • @FOIVSI

no you can still have a remote access if you disable blank password restrictions by using a policy in

Click Start, point to Run, type gpedit.msc, and then click OK

Open Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Local Policies\Security Options\Accounts: Limit local account use of blank passwords to console logon only. Double-click Limit local account use of blank passwords to consol logon only.

Click Disabled, and then click OK.

    Quit Group Policy Editor

  • Is Crossloop better then Remote desktop?

  • Logmein is better, if you want to login onto your own computer, like from work...to send an email or something like that.

Crossloop is the best, to give support to someonels...not to log in to your pc, from a diffrent location. (two sides need to Confirm desktop sharing..)

    ENJOY !!

2 Program's,... both verry good, but diffrent :)

  • Don't you have to pay to use LOGMEIN???

  • Don't you have to pay to use Logmein or Crossloop??

  • if you take the LOGMEIN "free" it works fine!

its not Trail or something like that...

    but it is basic.

remember, the prupus is to log into you computer at home if you are at work and need something...

So your homee pc has to be POWER ON!! no sleepmode!!

    Good luck....

  • Yes and No. You don't have to download a program if you are using XP. If you are using your other program you have to. I like Remote Desktop better but what ever works for you...

  • Im sorry but i dont got my sound on my computer so i cant hear what you are saying. But baseicly im asking that should i always use Lan (10 mps or higher) And doesnt he need the victim need to open remote asistence to?
