  • Im here coz of CROOKLYN

  • I remember this song becoming a hit in the late 60's and this SOUND was unreal and amazing. The sound of the drums was so pronounced, without being overly loud; Thom's string arrangement was awe inspiring, and I've heard it said that he wasn't even super confident of his arranging skills at this time. Even after 40 plus years, this song sounds fresh and breathtaking.

  • Long Live Nic Cage! He made it his own...and now the cascade of thumbs down! hurraaaaayy for me everyone, hurray for me!

  • Am I goin crazy or does the quality of this mix sound good as hell!!!!!! 70's my ass.

    Sierra Cuban, Miami, Florida

  • @sierracuban,

You've got 4 years on me sierra and you're so right; this song represents when music was just that back in the day - music! I feel fortunate to have grown up listening and treasuring the music of the late 50's, 60's, 70's, and 80's. The music of today - I just can't deal with that type of NOISE!

  • Way back when, part of when music was music!

  • MUH FUCKAS USE 2 LOOK @ ME CRAZY WHEN I BUMP THIS IN DAT PEARLY WHITE THANG ROLLIN LIKE SHIT OFF THE LATE NIGHT CRUZIN DEM DC STREETS, LLS #OLDSOUL

  • I guess it's good that it introduced this music to a lot of people, but I'm sick of seeing Family Man comments everywhere.

  • @donkameron

    aye

  • So I was in high school 1970's and engaged to my husband when the Delfonics were pretty popular with this song. Nice times! (BTW) we are not married now but still good times!!
