  • ohh.. see, i might end up studying in australia, so thanks.

  • Watching your other videos I thought you where saying Noob, as in the vidoe game insult. So has the word been knob or noob or a comob of the both (sorry for the second comment >.<)

  • >.< Where the Hi?...it feels empty now lol

  • Wow, thanks for the lesson.

Gotta' remember all that stuff to use on mah friends.

Lol, and the way you said, "Hello, wanker." with that slight eyebrow raise. Really funny, keep it up.

  • That was great. Thanks for sharing. Entertaining and informative.

  • LMAO! colloquial language and phrases.....omg its so funny :P when ever i go to another country that seems to b a problem :P but its very interesting what ppl can come up with ^^ ur such a random asian person lol, (but in a good way)^^ never thought id c some 1 more random then me :P good work keep up

  • u r a gud slang teacher lol

BUT!!! i still dont knw when to use "bakgo" what? or "baga" something like that

btw english not my 1st language

  • awesome video, made me lol

  • In Canada, we call our friends bad names when something good happens to them, too... I guess it's seen as sarcasm or something, not sure.

  • HAHAH "Hello wanker", yes I know I reply to +5 months old videos, leave me alone!

  • bugger actually means anal sex lol. Did you know that? Check it up.

  • bangs yea,i love fixin my bangs..thats what we use here in USA

  • why didn't u say that "bugger" is just another alternative to the four letter expletive. living 6 years in australia, one realises how much australians love to curse. i have a sailor mouth now.

  • is the term "bangs" really that select to the US? jeez.. I've never thought of that..

    fringe?

  • haha... well i have stretched my vocab a tad bit more today... hahaha bangs are what we use in the us!

  • i know i always greet people with a simple "hello wanker"

  • we've always called them bangs here(after your video it sounds really nasty...uh oh)Fringes here are on dresses... hmmm... anyway...very funny mix up LOL

  • Your video's are excellent, I saw the first one today, and coulden't stop until I saw them all. I learned a few new words as well.

  • that last part was pretty clever

  • I can't stop watiching your videos. they are addictive. you are addictive.

  • poza tym jest ładniutka :)

  • fajnie :) omawia tematy których opracowanie nie każda dziewczyna by się podjęła, polecam jej inne filmy :D

  • LOL you know, I've never realized how weird the term "bangs" is. I guess every country has it's quirks. I like fringe better, but if I said that over here in the US I'd get funny looks.

  • hahaha. there is constant talk here in california about bangs. the shape, the size, the volume, etc. it's cool how you call it a fringe. if you said that over here most people would ask why you're talking about a curtain or something.

  • this vid's so hilarious I had to put a link to it in my AIM profile, I'm almost caught up to your most recent stuff! wish I had found you earlier, you're the best!

  • lmao, thats so funny that rooting means that in australia, so, i wont say im rooting for you, but.. i can say "Go you!" so i can actually root without saying i am and being pervy.. haha, n e who, that probably didnt make any sense but... (read next)

  • yah, also, i call them bangs, haha, what a funny thing... i think u aussies are just trying to make us americans into pervs! haha, i figured out ur agenda, mwahaha... im going to stop wasting ur time now, i love ur vids!!! ^.^

  • i know how u feel , i used 2 live in england now i live in austraillia, we talk the same

  • Maybe we could hear a bit about the etymologie of bugger next time. It was very amusing.

  • Bangs is when you have a fringe down both sides of your face and not in the middle that are quite long and are meant to frame your face.

Bugger means another word for "crap/shit/fuck" etc etc too :)

  • ahh so THATS what bangs mean! I keep reading odd references to them and getting so confused! It seems that in Australia you speak pretty much the same way as we do in England, so it was kinda funny to see you go over stuff I'd normally take for granted. But then again, if them (the Americans) calling a fringe 'bangs' is weird, I guess us 'buggering off' must sound equally nuts...

anyway, great vid and you seem to know what you're talking about, I may even subscribe ^_^

  • buggar/bugga means f***

    bogan means b****

  • lmao i love your videos!

  • I knew that.

  • i'd tap that! pew pew!

  • watch?v=z6kYiQCADFw

  • its so funny watching u explain what those words mean, i live in australia, for a year now, and im just used to those words but i can understand that some people wont know what they mean. you explained it very well, if i wouldnt've known what those words meant, i would now.

    hope that made sense somehow.

  • I'm surprised bangs didn't come up in the dictionary!

That's really funny, I had no idea it was called fringe anywhere.

  • i'D BANG YOU SILLY!

  • how i wish i could marry you!

  • i know confusing... teh bangs thing.... i like fringe better :)... ooohh nob... new insult for me to use :) lol thanks :)

  • haha when she said i gotta cut my bangs its her hair...u have bangs it just has an s on the end becuz it makes more sense

  • root root

  • u shuld be a english teacher...

  • OMY SOO CUTE

  • lmao lmao lmao if i WERE A MAN iD HIT ON YOU....I think i have been...since like...I saw the first video....so...I guess...um....id root for you too...or...um bang....oh bugger...Im gonna bugger this whole thing....*sigh* i feel like a wanker

  • CC is so fringe

  • I am so into communitychannel

  • interesting, bang,nob...

  • its suprising how poeple know one meaning while i know both. get the best from both worlds.

    anways, could vid!! ahaha. bangs.

  • i'm jealous of you lol, my boyfriend just watched your video and had this huge smile on his face and told me you were prettier than me ! suck for me huh. . . he told all his friends to watch 3:21 - 4:03 ... he says we look alike lol

  • haha bangs..i got them a while ago and my cousin from england said "oh i like your hair, i might get frindges too." and i was like frindges..what are you talking about..lol over here in california.well where i live they call them bangs.- i don't know why.

  • LOLOLOL!!!! bloddy hell! hahaha

  • im rooting for you nvthless! just kidding. love your vids. keep going!

  • nice way to explain bugger!! lol

  • bugger is kinda like umm... SH!T, kinda like some cuss words.

  • LOL

  • rofl

  • im australian, live in sydney and go to UNSW and i got to say in sydney we do use the terms root and bang.

granted its uncommon but hardly unheard of. im really suprise you've never heard of these terms.

  • g'day love! ur vids are bloody hilarious!

  • What was up with the ending? And I knew it! You do have a Mac.

  • Wow, you Aussies have some bizarre speak. It's very interesting. I prefer my native tongue: Amurrrican! What part of Australia are you from? I've never been, is it worthy visiting? Mind you, I live in God-less Florida. A Liberal once told me that I was going to hell, I turned to her and said: "I've been a resident in Florida for ten years!"

    Morituri te salutamus,

    ATMD

  • Apparently it means "a fringe of hair cut straight across the forehead", but yeah, I agree with what you're saying. I know what it means when in that context but I still always find it sounds odd when people say it. Unless it's pyromaniac slang, as in she's cutting her... explosions. No, that's stupid.

  • You have ActiveDolls? ^_^ i would never forget that " Oh Yeah!"

  • I just watched every single one of your videos! Ha ha..you are so funny

  • omg i bow down to you i never knew that someone could be so funny. AAnd in all of their vids! ITS CRAZY!

  • Harsh!

She's good looking young lady, with a great accent.

(Especially the cockney one "wait till prince charles hears about this")

As for breasts; if you're only watching videos for the cleavage then go to youporn instead.

  • who did u reply that too?

  • hahaha. all your videos on youtube are hilarious. i give you thumbsup for making me laugh so hard. keep on making them videos! where do you get all the ideas?

  • what is called a finge...lol well i call it bangs loli think i kno what u meen by bugga.. if thats what it was.. ima say it at school lola nd c what happens.. haha this is a funny video

  • i just love your accent!!! u sound like someone in harry potter.

  • lol, i loved the end.

    'can you go now?' :D

and i really want your accent. heh. =]

    loved this video. :]

  • I am soooo "rooting" for you Nats....nyuk nyuk nyuk..

  • hahaah ur still sow funny

  • errrr.. i just want to tell you that you right to make a video about this cause some people take to seriously to be called wankers so that it's a friendly naming.. how many times i got punched because of that.. but now i understood that all people were not walking on th same wave length ^^

  • ok, in Britain you can use 'bugger' like that or you can actualy be 'buggered' or 'bugger' someone. to be 'buggered' means...to..have...'bum sex'. there we go. 'bum sex'.... buggered = bum sex/ass sex/ arse sex / anal sex. ENOUGH!

  • Yeah, here in the UK, people can take it as a quite strong insult.

  • omg i cant breathe! i laughed so hard at the bugger analogies and the explaination of affection terms for friends - u absolutely articulated it perfectly, i never considered it much b4, just some that aussies get

  • Howdy Nat Mate u need to get yourself agent so you can get a spot on a skit show on telly or something like that ,you have a natural talent for the camera . You havent posted a new vid for a few days ,im hanging out for a new one so please make me happy. BYE

  • OMG BANGS!?! You guys call them fringe?? LOL i was cracking up when you got to that part! weird..i would never have thought to call them fringes or watever you guys call them...

  • i like the way you swear, it sounds so polite lol. when i start using the "f" word all hell breaks loose.

wow these videos are pretty entertaining seen em for the first time today.

  • I will love to bang you! LOL!

  • hahahaha. you need your own show.

  • I know! I learned my English in India, at the 'British School of New Delhi', and when I came to Canada, there were really weird words that I ddin't understand, and 'bangs' were one of them. Nice videos! What's with the weird guy in the end, though...I didn't get it...

  • strange that aussies can lose their accents so quickly when they move to america or england, but the english and americans take a REAL long time to lose theirs when they come here

  • yeah... isn't that weird? lol. fringe is MUCH better lol (bcos im used to it :P)

  • I wish u were my teacher!! "Can you go now"!!! lol...

  • Cute, funny and talented, I just love your vids !!

  • lol... bangs... well, we all call it bangs in cali, i guess things are quite different

  • Funny about how you use rooted. My husband (a Kiwi) was taking some Hong Kong students on a field trip to Australia and they had shirts done up for their trip. The shirts said "Rooted in Hong Kong". He took great pleasure telling them what it meant. Ha Ha

  • sexy

  • u r so cool and so are your videos. i know...i keep sending comments to alll fo your videos but they are so cool!!

  • I love the slang descriptions! I knew most of them because I was dating an English man for awhile and the slang all seems to be pretty similar. I always found the word tosser to be hilarious. anyway... I find it amazing that we all supposedly speak the same language but cannot understand each other. Keep up the awesome vids!

  • I use Bugger too d:) only in Dutch of course... bagger.

  • that was jokes. come learn some canadian slang.

  • hahahahahaha ur sooo funny. love ur videos.

  • haha^^, u just got a new subscriber=D thnx for making these videos=)..ur funny^^...(said that like 10x times so) sry for the spam xP...well keep it up=)

  • its like every curse word with every meaning of it in one word

  • thanks for explaining the Aussie slang, Natalie. I'm catching up with your videos from the first to the latest and so I've been hearing you use a lot of Aussie slang words that are rather amusing to Americans

  • I like eating candy and watching porn to :D

  • um yeah there called bangs..... here in America thats what we call them... you guys, where ever your from, probably call them something else.. and I don't normally say "I wanna bang that chick over there", I say, "dude, I wanna fuck that chick over there". It just sounds better :D

  • 1) I suppose like each... strand or clump of hair is a bang because I could say that "Natlie has one big bang across her forehead"... ya know

    2) Bugger ... we don't use that in America, but I would think people watch enough TV and enough movies to understand what it means. Hm *shrug*

    3) Wanker isn't used that often in America. we say "Love you, bitches" ... it's more of a rich girl thing... If my friend won the lotter, I would say "Oh, fuck you. That's awesome, buy me something"

  • I thought you were realllly cute in your "washing your hands of germs" video, but now, I;m not so sure. Now I think your cute and reallly wierd... Don't know, perhaps it's just me???

  • haha no one calls them bangs? this is funny.

  • lol yeh it's kinda like the F word. it's like a group of swear words in one. but ppl here say swear words in a series of situations. i can say to me friends "fuk u bastard!" when they win or are really happy instead of saying "good on ya!" or "congrats" within friendship groups it's acceptable as affectionate words. ^^ lol nat's right.

  • bangs- fringe hehe i recently moved to the states from australia.. americans use soo much words that are different to us.. for example! Chemist = Drugstore (where you can get makeup) Jelly = Jell-O Boot = Trunk (of car) Lollies = Candy but not chocolate hhmmm being in the states im soo loosing my accent i hate it! keep up the great videos! Aussies Rule!!
  • yall have the awesomest accents! I live in Texas and I love australian accents

  • omg your one of the most gorgeous people i have ever seen and btw i live ib aus as well

  • i love your cleavage (yes i am female :)

  • Nice Mac!!!

  • bugger sounds like the ozzies F word

  • u look like a good bang!

  • touche

  • So, I've been making my way through your videos (congrats on getting featured--it's how I found them), and I decided that I should definitely get around to commenting.

Whether you believe so or not, you do have a very amusing off-kilter humor. I already knew the meaning of these words (despite being American), but I couldn't help laughing at your way of explaining them. I'm really looking forward to watching more of your vids!

  • yeah its a good thing u were featured or i might not have found ur vids... they're so good. ur probably the only australian channel that i watch (iv seen other good australian made vids, but not channels, tho i guess they're there and i just have to find them) ANYWAY ur vids are so interesting. liked ur bogan one :)

  • Again nicely done, and do you use your MAC computer's built-in camera to shoot all your videos? the quality is quite good i think...

  • it's like all those words transfer into FUCK. tisk tisk, nauty australians their lingo is so awesome. I think your amazing.

  • oh gosh, my comment was aimed at djcheff. so sorry =(

  • Shit that was a funny one aswell. cant stop watching ur videos they tell so much truth its hilarious. keep it up.

  • australians can go kick some fuckin dirt for all i care

  • you stupid wanker

  • the ending was funny =) and you can pretty much substitute the F word or B word for bugger too =)

  • Very funny. I've been watching all your videos. Your brilliant!

  • hahahaha...so funny...I'll be rooting for you...hahahaha

  • its totally your fault that i say "bloody hell" now ... my mom thought i was bleeding when i said that lol!

  • oh I totally love this vid!

  • Sorry to sound retarded but I was a little distracted watching this video. The center piece wasn't the discussion. The distraction looks very nice.

  • bugger means (part 1)

Technically means to sodomize, but most people use the word in a variety of situations, often without realizing the true meaning.

It is often considered these days to be more acceptable that the word 'fuck' (as long as you are not in the presence of anyone old enough to remember the actual meaning).

    BUGGER! (when something goes wrong.)

    Bugger-me! ('Well I'll be damned..')

  • im rooting for you too! haha. Go you.

  • omg im rooting for you! Gawd australian girls are so interesting especially with their accents.. I need to root a couple?! ;p

  • you have talent, a broad mind, a sense of humour... and the courage to post these videos, which do nothing less than endear yourself to your audience... all power to you!!

  • bang is actually more of a verb. that person probably meant that sentence literally. iono but some people are just that randomn.

  • I have to say you don't make me laugh that much. I think you might try to hard, but the bit about bangs did make me laugh. :)

  • Im from perth, u r funny girl.... :) its 2am n I have work too, but im tryhing to get thru all ur vidz

  • BUGGER OFF!

    haha j/k

  • hahahah u make me laugh again hahaha

  • i'm an english guy and i use most of the phrases same as you. hehe bugger it! oh yeah and i know a few americans they get a confused look on their faces when i use the words wank, shag, knobhead and twat.

love the videos tho. i only recently ciscovered them, its 1.06am and i'm slowly getting thru them all, urgh bugger i got to be up for work in 5 hrs :(

  • I'm just an ignorant Canadian, but you Australians use a lot of the same phrases as the British and (I'm sorry, no offence intended) your accents sound very similar.

  • yeah no mate i totally understand where you're coming from and to make things harder, like you said, we use very similar phrases and words. To be honest, i feel ignorant too because i find it difficult to differentiate between american and canadian *waits for thunder to kill her* it's embarassing but i understand where you're coming from :D

  • In my lowly opinion, we're not that different from Americans. Probably more healthy, more immune to the cold, more polite. Not so paranoid about airline safety. I suppose we must be vastly different, as they're always teaching about our individuality and differences from Americans in Social Studies, but in everyday life... we're basically the same.

  • Canadians say eh a lot more...I know I do...Other then that I don't know how different our slang is from Americans...Also, I think British and Australians have pretty different accents. My mom was born in South Africa and a lot of people mistake her accent for British or Australian...although she lived in Wales and Australia when she was a kid...but she didn't really pick up either accent...except she says Crikey sometimes.

  • Maybe to americans and canadians English accents and australian accents sound similar, but they are quite different (i guess that's bcos im aussie lol) - however i know that all english speaking countries find New Zealand accents are much harder to distinguish from australian accents! apparently they sound the same. (tho i don't know y! - ppl from NZ say fush and chups instead of fish and chips, and sex instead of six)

  • Speaking of Bang... I know its crappy quality but you should check out my Bang Bang Bang Vid.. Its a friends band!

  • I'd barrack for yanks to learn, but we can't be buggered. (If you can't tell, I've been over the moon since Babelfish added a Yank to Ozzie setting. Its top shelf.)

  • OMG! we share so much slang wit u aussies!

  • I don't know if you knew but bugger reffers to buggery and that is... well... taking it up the arse, yeah! nice! anyway just wondered if you knew. I thought it funny when you said 'bugger that' lol

  • I live in England and we all use the words bugger, wanker, tosser piss and arse. That's quite odd because for some reason I assumed Australians would use American phrases.

  • fricking funny

  • lol your really funny. i look forward to seeing more videos from you...lol and no i will not "ROOT" for you. =D

  • woahh you call em fringe? thats weird haha

  • no, its weird what u call them, lol. bangs????? that is crazy!! iv ALWAYS known it as "fringe" - thats just what they are: fringes.

bangs - now where did THAT come from? lol :P

  • shes not british you fucking retard

  • absolutely the best vid from you. loved it. please keep makin em'.

  • i want to root for you.

  • shes ausrailian you idiot

  • i have to cut my bangs means to cut your hair, specifically the hair normally in front of a womans face

  • lol

  • remins me of the time I had an exchange teacher from Neighbours land, she called someone a wanker and the audible gasp could be heard a mile away. It's definately not affectionate over here in England

  • haha yerr loved this 1.. i use the word bugger alot lol xx

  • Applause, applause, laughter, you start my day off with a smile. But I wouldn't want to have dinner with you. You'd be sharper than the steak knives.

  • hey i just whant to say your hot and looking very beautiful <3<3<3

  • very glad i know how to use bugger in a sentence.

i am going to bgger all over the place tomorrow

  • very funny

  • that literally made me LOL. loved it. learnt nothing new though, but great start for all the americans out there.

  • oh i am just so glad i found your channel... you rock.. these vids are fabulous!

  • isent bangs the things that are in your hair the things that hang down from tehfromt of your head?

  • u make the best videos

  • Haha, nice one Nat. Kind of reminds me of Paperlilies "swears" video (hilareouse, check it out).

  • LOL!! that was hilarious i love the way u make ur vids!

  • Thanks for the buggard explanation. Did I spell it right? As for wanker, I thought it was ok to call someone a wanker, in a polite way, like, "Get the hell outta here you wanker."

  • glad i'm a subscriber.
