  • 3:53 the god of bass

  • God, thank you for gave us Herbie!

  • Wow, being your own keyboard stand must be killing on your back, props to the Herbmeister!

  • I love this era, i love herbie, and i've strapped many questionable things around my neck as a keyboardist, but i have to say poor herbie looks like a cigar girl at a speakeasy at the beginning. But I wouldn't change a thing. Awesome. His pocket when he solos is ridiculous as always.

  • The ever changing chameleon of music, Herbie. 3 years before he "Rocked" us.

  • lol autotune.

  • regarding disco... its just music done at a tempo you can dance to. stay sitting your ass down. give it up.

  • more cowbell!!

  • disco killed the MUSIC star before MTV

  • Spectacular detuning for Paul Jackson.

  • I adore jazz fusion and Hancock. But this track, somehow, confuses me. The disco style doesn't attract me. I'm more with raw funk of JB and thrash cosmic jazz of Miles.

  • Check out bean9seventy covering the original bass line. It shows the quality of the track. This live performance by Herbie's band is weak.

  • @shishyupal but this is 1979 isn't it? disco was the spirit of the times

  • Hancock & The Headhunters ware the master of Jazz/Funk. none like them !

  • Thanks for sharing...but this is not "Headhunters" any more...I think this went under "Herbie Hancock Group" or something like that, and it's during his vocoder/disco period.
