there was a shootemup named alexis. it look like much, much better zanac. but i cant find any references or explanation on the web regarding that one.
Yes.. game's AI is fricken smart. If you shoot so rapidly or shot down enemies quickly, it become impossibly hard. anyway, I was fortunate to win the game once(but using emulator, not real MSX-II) the ending was ... good. Ah... memories. thanks for vid.
Oh, it's only 10% of action in this video, than when you have weapons of Nth level...

Odd, I'd read that this was an "upgrade" from Zanac, but I can't really see that it looks better...take the one-color shot icons.

Funny how much resemblence it has with Aleste. Aleste was Compile though, not Pony.

Indeed, Compile and Ponica worked together on this games and two of the three MSX1 predecessors.
