it sure can, all guitars and drumsets and mics prior to this game are compatible. and on another note guitar hero 4 will also be fully compatible with rockband 2 and vice versa including the drumsets for both games. im also curious as to how that will work regarding the layout on drumsets for both games. but yeah xplorer can be used for rockband 2 haha
