If i buy a SSD of 50GB to store windows and others applications, and have a normal HD around 1TB to store things like videos/photos and others applications. Does the windows still loading faster?

Try comparing uncompressed data speeds in XP. A Vertex 2 only can only copy and paste 200MB of data at 3.6MB per second on my ATOM test platform! Intel SSD's win here. A vertex 2 requires special partition alignment in XP. Intel SSD's win again! A vertex 2 is not plug and play under XP! Intel wins again! A vertex requires a lot of time and tweaks to get synthetic benchmarks that have no basis in the real world and Intel wins yet again! Most people use XP! Deal with it!

@OutofBoxExperience Too bad every month theres around 1%-2% people upgrade XP to windows 7. Window 7 is much better. Oh and I have both Intel X25-M and OCZ Vertex 2. The read speed on both of them is pretty much the same. However, the write speed on vertex 2 is much faster.

@Wallonische you're an idiot, the life of a SSD is about 10 years, about the life of a PC. Buy a SSD and you wont have to replace it. I've had 4 full 3.5 HDDs and they've all failed in just a few years, all costing ~100.

Very well done vid. I got 120 GB SandForce drive myself, unfortunetly, not an OCZ, only because of their silly Mail In Rebait program. Ether drop the MSRP right-out or somebody else gets my business. MIR are annoying - burn me once...there won't be a second time.
