  • Awesome & informative video - very thorough! Thanks sooo much!

  • you don't need foundation!!! your friggin gorgeous!

  • Haha! I think the cupids bow is such a cute name for that area! But I had to add that here in the south we call it a snot trough. OMG! I know I sound like a super redneck right now and most of you are thinking EWWWW! But someone out there has to laugh! LOL

  • you look just like my cousin! and btw i bought this because of you and i LOVE it! thanks

  • i want this now!! haha

  • The only one complaint i have about this vid os that your skin is already PERFECT!! lol i honestly couldnt tell if it applied well or not cuz ur skin is amazing

  • if u have a foundation line then ur not using the right foundation color lol

  • @misslvlydcmbr That's not true, a lot of people, expecially when they tan, don't use a face tanner, so their face/neck can be a lighter shade than the rest of your body. So a lot of people use a foundation to match the rest of their body. So yes,, their can be a line with the right color depending on circumstance.. :)

  • @tngraves wrong. because if you are tanning your body then you should be finding the right color foundation to match your new tan.. if you dont then you will have that line of demarcation... if girls like that line on their necks then go for it. all it shows is that you r wearing makeup. what was the RIGHT color before will not be the RIGHT color after you tan.

  • the only thing it doesnt do is cook your eggs :o

  • This blending sponge was given to me as a gift and I had no idea how to use it. I'm thankful that I ran into your video! I am excited to use it now that I know how to use it. You create awesome videos. Thank you!

  • its looks so great. i wanna get this for back to school instead of the beauty blinder becuase i dont wanna spend $20.00 i would rather pay 10 and use that and maybe later on down the line try the beauty blinder (: you look beautiful

  • Wow I am soo glad i bought this. You did an amazing job on this video

  • Great video! This weekend when i go shopping i was going to get a tinted moisturizer and i heard something about the beauty blender and I saw this so im soo going to get sonia kashuk one!

and does the rimmel stay matte powder actually like keep your face matte?

  • do a video on how to wash it :D

  • Great video - really helpful. I am in love with this product and your video really added to all the ways I can put this blender to full use. Thanks!

  • Thank you for this video, I was hesitant to buy this sponge but I think I will now :) And I am sure you get this all the time but you are so so pretty!

  • wow! your makeup looks flawless! im totally buying it!! check out my channel ill appreciate it, i subbed btw :)

  • I love youuuu!!!!!! Finally!!! someone that understands that you don't necessarily have to have expensive makeup to look good...I love all the products you used in this video. I think they are good quality and very cheap. I'm definitely gonna subscribe.

  • Too much blush

  • Nice video, but you should not use the same sponge on multiple products, unless you portion the products on a mixing or application surface, even your hand is better than straight from the casing. This is especially true if it is from liquid/cream to powder (vice-versa). Contamination is the easiest way to break out and expire your products :)

  • Do you have to wet it? I noticed u didn't which I would prefer

  • @eyes5976 You do have to wet it to get the best application. I wet the sponge before filming this video.

  • Wow!!

  • OH MY GOSH,SO GLAD I bOUGHT THIS YESTERDAy! You can do anything with it!:)

  • @orangesierra22 I know it's so versatile!!

  • What do you use to wash it?

  • @orangesierra22 Facewash

  • Why is there a purple and a blue one? Is the blue one limited edition?! Please answer

  • @orangesierra22 I think the purple one is from Ulta and the Blue one is from Target.

  • @LaFemme5278 The purple one and the blue one are from Sonia Kashuk. For some reason they changed the color. Ulta's is a sort of salmon peach color.

  • This was an excellent demonstration. Now, I am interested in trying the sponge.

  • @starzhere Thanks! It really is a great sponge!

  • Awesome video! How many times do you wash it? like after one or two uses? thanks so much!

  • @Horseyluv1998 Thanks! I wash it every 3-4 times

  • wow! im definitly going to target soon! haha thanks!

  • @LorinBeaty You're welcome!

  • I bought a blending sponge from Ulta and had NO idea how to use it. It didn't come with directions, either. Thank you so much for posting this! I had no clue this little thing could do so much! Now I am excited to try it out!

  • @Border356 It's a shame that it doesn't come with directions. There's so much this sponge can do!

  • Has your face been more prone to break out since you started using the sponge and concealer?

  • @7cleverbuttons I haven't noticed more breakouts

  • Hi Lindsay, I used the SK sponge with my CoverGirl Simply Ageless foundation and creme blush today. FIRST TIME ever that I really liked the way these products look on me. Thanks so much for this video! Now I will get use out of these products, so I really appreciate it!

  • @MsShadowAngel1 I'm so glad I could help!!

  • Thanks for making this video. It has hands down been one of the best videos showing the versatility of the sponge. I use to use the Sephora precision sponge which is very small. And while it's does do a great job I will be purchasing the SK sponge. Thanks alot.

  • @101Monieluv I'm glad you found this video helpful. I love the SK Blending Sponge and the finish it gives me. I just bought the Beauty Blender from Sephora.com so when I get it I'll definitely do a review!

  • U DONT EVEN HAVE ANY DAMN UNDER EYE CIRCLES LOL

  • @cocolips26 I do but the camera and being in front of the window washes me out.

  • This is the best review for this product! (= (=

  • @ShaShaOoglah Thanks a lot!

  • Oh wow you don't even need foundation! I'm so jealous! Lol

  • @SarahRoseLynn Haha the camera really washes things out so it makes my skin look nicer than it really is. Thank you though!!

  • Oh wow you don't even need foundation!

  • can you wash it ? .. :) thanks

  • @lilmisstalksalot21 Absolutely! I just wash it in warm water with face wash.

  • I love that Rimmel foundation. I also have the Rimmel stay matte and I like the one you use in this video so much better. It's great coverage :)

  • @blaytonx04 I know! I have not heard anything good about the Stay Matte foundation--I have it and never use it!

  • I've never seen it used so many ways before! Awesome, thanks for a great vid.

  • @veekay8 You're welcome!!

  • I just bought this and like you I was wondering why it didn't come with directions! But I'm do glad I found this review here and thank you for explaining this so well :)

  • @FunkyLilBeat1 Great! I'm so glad I could help ; )

  • do u have oily skin? or normal to dry?

  • @ILOVEUBABE12907 I have combination skin--oily t-zone with dry spots.

  • @ILOVEUBABE12907 me too! but i produc e soo much oil on my tzone

  • I love my blending sponge! I've had it for about 3 months and have used it pretty much every day! It maybe time for a new one! Love the video! I'll have to try it with the blush and bronzer!

  • Thanks Lindsay - gotta go try this now!

  • you have such beautiful skin! even without make up!

  • @mandith Wow thank you! That's so kind but the camera seems to smooth a lot out too! lol

  • Wow - great demo!! I didn't realize you could use it for so many things!!!!

  • Really good video. Thorough and easy to understand. Thanks.

  • You are really good at this stuff lol....i think im going to buy it now thanks!

  • @daisykitten94 Thank you! Get it it's great!

  • great vid! sold me lol

  • Do you ever get breakout because you use makeup and what do you use to wash your face.

  • @asulikeit22 I do get breakouts but I don't think its usually because of my makeup---more hormonal reasons. I don't stay loyal to any one particular facewash. I use different acne control facewashes from the drugstore.

  • Awesome video. I need to buy this.

  • I have to get on of these now!

  • do you have oily skin/combo? and in your opinion which foundation is better rimmel lasting finish or revlon colorstay

  • @mel2call I have combination skin--sometimes it gets oily and other times I have dry patches. Overall I like revlon colorstay better because I think it really does stay on my face and looks nice longer than rimmel. But rimmel is more moisturizing and will hide some slightly dry skin better than revlon which can accentuate it. I like to mix the revlon colorstay oily/combination with the colorstay normal/dry which gives me the best finish for my skin.

  • Thanks for doing this video. I had never heard of the sponge blender,s and I will definitely be trying them. I have a MAC foundation brush that leaves me with streaks so I usually just use my fingers.

  • HOW IS THIS DIFFERENT THAN THE REGULAR MAKEUP SPONGES? LOOKS THE SAME TO ME...BUT LET ME KNOW ! :)

  • @indigal83 It doesn't have any edges like wedge sponges so it gives you a more even, flawless coverage. Also, the blending sponge is used with a stippling motion where most other sponges are used with a buffing or blending motion--stippling leaves a more airbrushed finish.

  • great tutorital!

  • does the sponge dry out by the next day?

  • @YeahHildeKase Since the sponge is only slightly damp when used, it dries very quickly.

  • what do you use to clean the sponge?

  • @honeybezz76 I just use my regular face wash and it seems to work well. There is some staining from my foundation on the end of the sponge but I think that is normal.

  • @honeybezz76

I clean it with a tiny amount of J&J baby shampoo and once a week a zap it in the microwave for 2 minutes. Make sure the sponge is wet and let it cool before you handle it because it will be HOT! You can google: microwave-kills-germs-sponges

    for complete details and verification.

  • I hate foundation brushes...thanks for this

  • Response to "Ah, no make up": Are you serious ???

    :)

  • you have GORGEOUS skin to begin with but i can kinda see how this just helps to even out your skintone :) great video...your beautiful

    thanks :)

  • i have the beauty blender (the purple one), and I love it! I love my foundation with this, because i also don't like foundation brushes. I've never used it for powders though, i'll definately have to try!

P.S. I found your channel from the beauty broadcast facebook page and you're awesome! Loving the videos!

  • @DanyStormborn Definitely try it with powder and let me know what you think (I think you'll be impressed with the finish) Thanks for the awesome comments!!

  • Wow..awesome tutorial, I never really knew how to use this till your video!!! Thanx so much!! :)

  • Awsome video. Hope, this sponge is available in Germany soon - i heard a lot of good things about it :)
