  • @KissFanaticForever Wow! I never knew that about Gene Simmons! Very cool!

  • I like the sound of your setup. Sounds just like mine did before I packed it all away. My turntable and vinyl have been in storage for almost 2 years now. Hope everythings alright with them yet being in the elements. I miss pulling an album, putting it on and pressing start. Vinyl seems to have IMHO better depth. Thanks for sharing. I will have to check out more of your videos. Keep up the good work whippersnapper.

  • @1957wade Thanks a bunch for the feedback! I agree with you entirely about Vinyl having better depth. I hope you enjoy my other videos. =)

  • I hate to say it, but your LP is from the 1987 digital reissue. Your denon cart sounds really nice, but you need to get an original Abbey Road.

  • @meanlittlemonkey That's what he says. " The record is the 2009 reissue of Abbey Road." Read the description.

  • very nice, thanks for sharing. nothing like the LP :)

  • Sweet! Thanks for the share (can never get tired of hearing this). Nice turntable!

  • @stringchild1 Thanks!! I'm glad you enjoyed it. =)

  • Great track Don! I've got this on Lp and on a 45. The Reissue sounds fantastic!

  • @althazarr Thanks Lloyd!! Glad you enjoyed it. =)

  • what kind of reciever are you using?

  • @RussianThickness1 I'm using a Denon AVR-590 receiver. Although it doesn't matter in this recording's case, I'm also using Infinity SM-122 speakers. =)

  • sounds great! is that a DENON cart?

  • @dimebagdave77 Thanks!! Yup it is. It's a Denon DL-110 moving coil cart. It's about $140 on Needle Doctor. =)

  • @spintheblackcircle4 then you had much luck :D

these things are normally really expensive what system do you use?

  • @Individuell83 I use a Denon DP-47F turntable, Denon AVR-590 Receiver, and Infinity SM-122 speakers. The Denon cart I got really isn't that expensive. $150 is the suggested retail I think. It's a lower end model but it still has the full frequency range of 20-45,000 Hz and it is moving coil. =)

  • @spintheblackcircle4 nice system but the receiver is a surround receiver isn't it?

  • @Individuell83 Sorry for taking so long to respond. Yes it is a surround receiver, but I put it in stereo mode or Dolby Pro Logic II Music Mode when using the turntable. This was recorded in stereo mode.

  • @spintheblackcircle4 no problem :)

in the output mode surround receiver mostly play back in stereo really good

but often trough the speakers it sounds not as good as with stereo speakers because of the size of the speakers the frequency response often isn't really linear because surround speakers were made for the "home cinema" feeling and not invented to listen to music

but as you said you have some great stereo speakers don't you? :D

  • @Individuell83 Sorry for taking so long to reply to this. I've been very busy. Yeah, I sure do have some great stereo speakers. I love my Infinity SM-122 speakers. They sound amazing with this turntable and they have been faithful to us for over 20 years now. Thanks so much that info you've provided and your interest. I love discussing this stuff with people. I just wish that I wasn't growing up with the generation where the best way to experience music was an iPod. Lol =)

  • @spintheblackcircle4 lol great :D I also with I wouldn't be in THIS generation

it would be soo amazing to imagine to go into one of many record shops and buy some great soul records

but these times are over ... sadly :D

  • @Individuell83 Yeah. Very true. Ah record stores. I've been in one my whole life and I wish I could go into one again. iPod? Pffzt. Yes they are very convenient, but I find placing a needle on a big black circle and listening to music in it's finest quality much more amazing. But nowadays, the coolest person in school is the person with the newest iPod and most mp3s on it. I was born in 94. I wish I was born 20 years earlier or so so I could experience records like my dad. =)

  • @spintheblackcircle4 lol alright so you're one year yonger then me I'm from 93...

I mean it isn't just the medium that I don't like it's comfortable to mix music on the computer and safe it and it's easy to send the song around the world. I mean I like analog mediums like reel to reel tapes, cassettes and records better anyway... but the most annoying thing is this unreal overcompressed music of today that has no warmth and feelings in it anymore...

  • @spintheblackcircle4 it just sounds dry. filtered, cold and unreal there's nothing "real" anymore in it...

most of the artists voices sound the same they don't have personality in their voices... sure there are artists out there who can really sing and have thei own "style" but they're sadly not even half famous as a rihanna or lady gaga or whoever

  • Never encountered a white label before!

  • @SlimeTron5000 Yeah, this is the 2009 reissue. For some reason, Apple records decided to make the label white on the reissue. I'd like an original but they're getting hard to find.
