  • thats a nice job lad ignore the -do it this way ,do it that way ,id graft wiv u anytime!!

  • long term skin exposure to these kinds of chemicals. You should protect ur skin more from exposure and respiratory system. I would consider a medical oxygen mask as filter masks are just not good enough for absolute protection

  • Nice one mate, that is the proper way to skim a wall. Been at it myself for 32 years now. Never ever one coated skim on any surface. Anyone doing it any different has probably picked it up from some rough old sod who was never taught properly in the first place. There's a recession on at the moment yet im always busy and never advertise, the phone just rings through people passing my name on. Keep it up mate, good to see it!

  • This guy is the man. Never seen a wall skimmed so fast.

  • Where youfrom spread?

  • haha it does make you laugh! crack on mate like many of us proper pasterers your 2 coating the way it should be done! word of mouth is how you make a living! you've got more chance of loosing a set by 1 coating! i 2 coat and can put on up to 50m2 sets! thats enough money for me! 1 coat wonder lol love it!

  • sorry how you do to level the wal so it doesn't end up all rippled , Iam quite amazed here in spain gipsum is such a crap comparing with yours seem to last a lot and then after it is spread on the wall you leave it a bit more and then go again and trowl to finish ,here the gipsum is such a crap u have to use it very thin so it doesn't dry so quick one 's got to dust it in to the water and when it gets soaked up just then you can mix it and we use long knifes to level the wall

  • Why don't plasterers work this quickly when you are paying them to do a job ? lol!!

  • Why don't plasterers work this quickly when you are paying them to do a job ? lol!!

  • Plasterboard only needs one coat!! Put on a thick coat minimum 2 -3 mm, keep it all flat and then let it go, use a sponge float, sponge wall then flatten again filling in any hollows, them leave it and give it a wet trowel, then a hard one!! How u can ever earn money on site 2 coating il never now, only ever one coat plasterboard!! I can smash 160 meters on site just by one coating on plasterboard!! and you get the same results, just depends if you know how to use your trowel.....

  • @Beano98ify 160meters in one day come on mate thats 16 bags give or take ! even if u did 4 hits at 4 bags a shot in the day you would lose it wiv d one coat ! thats just bollocks and u know it ....

  • DAMN NO! I loved the others, but I hope that's getting another going over. the entire wall is rippled. that's fat being spread. that needs another hit

  • Not only are you a Tradesman, you are an artist. I think with such a skill as plastering there is a large amount of talent involved. Great video.

  • Very very fast plasterer. I think its a good job even though ive only been plastering for like 2 years lol. And when i was at college i was taught that when skimming over plaster board its fine to do one coat because the board is already level and flat any way.. nice vid.

  • sponge floats rule after you've threw it on haha

  • richie ruff one coat..hahahahahhaha wheres ya horse m8!! Lol

  • ive been plastering for 10 years you can use one mix apply a thick coat of skim and then leave it for a while then use up whats left in the bucket in preference your only using one coat as your not letting the plaster go off before applying a wet second coat but it works my walls have thicker skim than some peoples 2 coat walls and the finish is perfect also when trowling up always trowl from an edge and not in the middle of the wall..

  • your streching...worst thing to do in plastering...will always ache more by streching

  • Thanks for the video m8. To add to the 2 coat v 1 coat on plasterboard. My brother has just finished plastering my new plasterboarded room and only used 1 coat and it has come up really smooth. He aint a plasterer but has picked it up over the years in the building trade. When i asked him about 2 coats, he said that he has never none any of the trade plasterers to use 2 coats on new plasterboard, however on uneven walls and over old plaster they did use 2 coats. Suppose its each to their own.

  • Top Job Barno. Thanks for making these video's.

  • irlandzcy skimersi sa bardzo dobrzy mało kto im dorówna!! Irish skimer are very few good match them!

  • yes u can put one coat if u are gud enough dat is as for being a cowboy if do maybe u should check ur own skills mate! ''because BG said so" those are only guidelines man plus if ur gud enough u won't have a problem will u?

  • @manutdalways ok mate your right and myself, all the plasterers i know AND british gypsum are wrong. they are guidlines. and the guidlines are there for a reason. no need to check my own skills mate. out of the two of us i seem to be the one who knows what hes on about

  • @stevebeddy1 nobody is saying that u are wrong just that there is more than 1 way to skin a cat. why not try it ya may even save on material i mean god forbid the great british gypsum would advise you to use more than required for there own profit! if u skim over sand&cement u have to use 2 coats but on plasterboard one is possible if a thick coat is applied and floated after application.try it ya never no you and all the plasterers u no might learn something!!

  • its two coats you sad wanker !

  • just finished a level 1 city & guilds plastering course and i was told to use 2 coats allways but i was told that the second coat evens the plaster out and removes marks and hollows but i see it that plaster board is the flattest surface to use so why the second coat? well i enjoyed the vid

  • because BG say so. and if you ever have a problem and tell them you one coated it. they won't take the blame

  • i agree with extraordinarybrit,

  • why is sum people sayn u only need 1 coat on plasterboard, its 2 coats all the time if u giv it 1 ur ruff as fuck, 2 coats, 3 trowels, an then a final trowel, shud take bout 2 1/2 - 3 hours thats a proper job

  • read the bag u end it tells u gypsum plaster is a 2 coat finish and as for touching the wall with u brush think u would be better working at a call center u hole

  • can see the fat marks and cat paws from here , fuck me look at the shit on the floor, seen enough get back in the factory chap!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @chefstarr33

No you cant you lying, retarded, sad little wanker!

  • brettwill87= yeah but thats how it more vulnerable to crack and ya dont get called one coat wonder now do ya fella!! 2 coats 2 mix! scared of abit of hard graft are ya?! lol

  • no i aint scared of hard work its just you can do twice as much with half the materials and get alot more money obviously your a shit plasterer. if you put the first coat on thick enough its like having 2 coats ive always done 1 coat on plasterboard and its never cracked with as good finish as 2 coats gypsum plaster is made for 1 coat even though people use 2 im sorry if your not skilled enough to be able to do 1 coat but dont get jealous

  • what a knob haha. look on british gypsums website. says its for 2 coat work. twat

  • you cant 1 coat either then by the look of it the only people who say you cant 1 coat are the ones who cant do it cause their shit

  • not a clue have you mate. anyone can one coat plaster. but multi and board finish are 2 coat plasters. fucking cowboy

  • i only 1 coat over plaster board not anyone can 1 coat cause you cant cause your shit you remind me of a plasterer i use to work with he says you cant 1 coat over plaster board and the only reason he says that is because hes rubbish if you can put on 1 thick coat and trowel it in as flat and smooth as 2 coats you would do it and show me on british gypsum website where it says multi and board finish is a 2 coat plaster and not 1 coat

  • it wont let me post the link on here. go onto the site. click multi finish, click literature then scroll down to application. "applied in 2 applications to required thickness" like i said your a cowboy who doesnt understand the materials he uses

  • your 1 of those plasterers who thinks their awesome behind their keyboard but really their some ones bitch doing the mixing and cleaning up

  • don't get bitchy mate because you've been proved wrong.

  • thanks for the videos young man all excellent.

    peace
