charlie...you are CLUELESS, I was born right after the revolution and we KNEW EVERYTHING about the monarchy, we LOVED them, and we had a very rosy picture of them, mostly bc we do HATED the mullahs, we LOVED teh monarchy even more than our parents. درود بر شهبانوی مهربان و نیکوکار ایران فرح دیبا. در ایران خیابانی بود به نام خیابان" اشگهای شهبانو" که فرح دیبا به خاطر ویرانی های زلزله در آنجا گریسته بود. اکنون مسئولین جمهوری اسلامی در عزای مادران داغدار وویرانیهای ایران به عنوان موفقیت  خود جشن می گیرند. دنیای غریبی است.
