  • haha this is amusing

  • i actually work there, in blumenort, not joking! i dident know that they did this to birds, hell...i work in the tank room wiping condinsation off the walls and ceiling and floor, shityist job ever, this is wierd finding a video of where i work.....

  • How dare you treat these birds like this.....I hate all of you and your company tooooo!

    G. wright

  • To Theonejtb. Actually, the ones who are " bitching" as you put it , are probably not eating animals PERIOD, because unlike you, we are not naive enough to think that mistreatment isn't a regular occurrence. You need to open your eyes and stop deluding yourself .Even if the drivers are trained well as you put it, there are alot of horrors in the meat industry; from the factory farm, the transport and arrival to the slaughte rhouse. go to "meet your meat"

  • i find it funny the same people bitching about the loading are the same ones with the other hand in the kfc bucket.. shut up an quit bitching. if they were hurt as they were being loaded. the driver refuses to load the bird.

any birds that are bleeding or can not walk on there own. or any bird that looks unhealthy is turned away and not loaded. all the drivers have taken courses on the safe handleing an transportation of turkeys.

  • We need to pass this onto the public and most people do not realize what is going on.

We can still be a humane society. Can't we? I believe we can but we must speak up for those without a voice.

  • geta life shit head

  • I worked at Granny's. This video isn't misrepresenting facts. People who say it is are not observant. The only claim that would make a person skeptical is "Turkeys weighing up to 60 lbs, hung by their feet." The birds were typically 30-40 lbs. I witnessed employees kick live turkeys. Some of the turkeys are dead before their throats are cut. Faeces is flying in the air...

I highly recommend that u wash & cook your poultry well! I have vastly reduced my meat consumption after working there!

  • Everyone who is believing this video must be a little slow, those birds were not dead, the one was lookin' around! it was raining there when they were transporting, but who know maybe it was a really really cold rain? *sighs* this video is pure bull, this coming from someone who has worked in a Granny's poultry, as well as on a turkey farm, and they do tarp up or board up when the weather is not good, PURE BULL CRAP WHOEVER BELIEVES THIS

  • If you think the loading of those birds is rough, you should it when I make a bestiality vid, now that's rough!lol Cock-a-doodle-do Mutha fuckas.....

  • Who is "Granny" ? Whoever she is the cunt needs to by hung up herself.

  • You know the funny part this video is exactly the same one that they have been putting on for months, they are just changing the title page from time to time As you notice they had a part in the video that said they were subjected to cold temperatures and it was not that cold in may 2009 as their title claims it is from

  • I agree that some of the stats in this video be checked for accuracy. For one thing, those birds weren't dead-their heads would be hanging straight down and limp. I know this from the experience of working at this very type of job. No way are those birds over 27kg either. The heaviest ones I've hung have been at most 22kg (not the average).

  • you think this is bad ? hell you should see how they treat the employee's . shit now thats something to get worked up over . !

  • @munkiimonster lol i couldnt agree more

  • I can't say anything about them throwing birds into the truck, that isn't good, however most of the "Facts" on the video are just misrepresented bits and pieces of videos. Get the real facts before you judge!! Have you ever seen a 60 lb turkey in the store????

  • 60 lb turkeys?? that makes it a 27 kg turkey. Did you weight them? they sure don't look 27 kg's to me! considering the world record for the biggest turkey is only 86 lbs... A turkey hen usually takes 14 weeks to reach maturity and weighs 15.3 pounds when processed. This compares to the tom, which takes 18 weeks to reach a market weight of 33 pounds.

amazing when the turkeys are being transported its RAINING- NOT SNOWING- isn't usually above 0 when it is raining??

  • while I agree, it could be the temperature that was recorded, it doesn't always snow

  • Happy Thanksgiving!

  • I sadly received this video along with the petition but as a Canadian living abroad I was not able to sign it - but I am horrified ( not surprised ) by what I see. I am glad this video has brought this to the attention of the public - perhaps those with such cruel hands will be delt with...finally ! Makes me all the more glad to be vegetarian - nothing deserves to be treated like this, from birth to slaughter it is a living hell for them !

  • i would actually check out the facts instead of believing a video, as they can be very exagerated at times. I know from experience that these videos are not what it seems as i have worked at this particular plant before

  • Actions don't lie and this kind of rough handling of animals is a disgrace - no animal deserves such disrespect ! I think this video speaks for itself and I have worked ( inspected ) many slaughterhouses and have seen much of the same by the workers there - those are not carrots being tossed around - oh probably carrots get better treatment than these poor living creatures ! It is pathetic and from someone who has turkeys, they are amazing birds and this just breaks my heart to see this !

  • how cruel

those bastards should burn in hell
